Running Away

The rain is coming down on these dark streets
I walk down to to see the faces
They look as scared as I am of you
I turn my head in the lamp light
Close my eyes to see whats inside me
I have given this world my heart
but it is drained now
But you don't care
As long as your there to be number one
I move on to another street
a boys just taken the bullet
and his heart bleeds
I stay out of stight so I'm not next
You can't kill a man when hes already dead
I wacth the girls in the red light
temping to see
But I'm lost like thier souls
I look back to where you are
but I can't turn, I'm brocken
I have choosen this dark path
and I am not going back
