A Shania Twin?

I read that there was someone impersonating Shania. She calls herself "Shania Twin". I saw a picture of her and she looks a little like Shania. But hey Shania is the original Twain. No one is better than Shania.

I saw her, here in Kingston, Ontario.
She tours bars in Ontario.
She does Shania hits, changing her clothes to match the biggest video hits like, "I'm outta here", "That don't impress me much"...
She does look like her. Moves like her. She and her band sound really good.
After a few beers, I felt like I was singing along with the real Shania, it was fun.
She's been in town 5 times already, I heard she's coming again.

I've got a small quicktime 'mov'ie of Shania Twin. Credit goes to whoever taped this. I forgot where I got it from.
Shania Twin, a tribute band. She does look very much and moves like Shania, but as Malissa said, no one is better at being Shania than Shania. I've noticed that Twin is larger and her voice and accent is a little off although she does try her best to imitate Shania. She's pretty good at it too.

Do you mean the video? not the song.

Shania Twin is also from Ontario and never even knew who Shania Twain was until people started mistaking her for Shania. She worked in a bakery and never sang. Then she looked up info on this person (Shania) Who people kept thinking she was. She took voice lessons
and started doing Shania Twin. She met the real Shania at Shania Twain days and Shania told her to go for it. She's no Shania, but she's not bad. http://www.shania.net/shaniaforum/smile.gif

I contacted the booking agent from Shania's Twin's site, he doesn't work for her anymore. He now works for Twain's Twin. He says she's even better.
I saw Shania's Twin here in Kingston, she was good. Twain's Twin might come to Kingston next month. I'll definitely go see her.

You'll probably want a little more background on myself then right?

We started "Shania Live!" in May of 1999, playing 24 songs from Come On Over and The Woman In Me. We are a 7 piece band, drums, bass, guitar, fiddle (mandolin and guitar) steel guitar (dobro) and of course the Shania, (Annette Lafond) and me on keys and acoustic. Our show is totally based on Shania's live concert, focusing in on the arrangements as delivered in concert. We've played huge shows, up to 15,000 people at local festivals, and throughout Canada and the US. We just got our hands on IGGG today, so that will definitely be a part of our next show at MotorCity Casino in Detroit, MI. Actually, now is the best time to be a Shania tribute - she can't be everywhere at once, and people will NEED their Shania fix!!! Shania's tour isn't going to come through small towns, county fairs and festivals, or your local goverment run casino now is it? ;) Trust me, we love Shania, and will be the first in line to see her for this tour - we had to play both of the nights she played in Detroit, but we won't make that mistake this time!

So, it wouldn't surprise everyone to hear that I got engaged on stage to "Still The One"???

I think it's neat to see the Shania impersonators but you are right they are no Shania. They are all very different from Shana too and they add their own thing and Shania doesn't do that. I need to see one that does exactly what Shania does and looks exactly her.

If I wanted to see a Shania impersontor I would want to see Shania Twin or Twains Twin.
