Yes, all i talk about is Shania. My family is completly unsupportive and they tell me to go and live with her. Seeming that i can't go and live with her, my parents just need to understand that Shania is the best. I really can't go 5 minutes without talking about her. My parents just don't seem to understand. They say that i give her more respect than i give them, which is the truth.

Yes, I talk about Shania A LOT! I am driving my family and friends out of their minds. It has gotten to the point where they start talking about her too. Not as much as I do of course. I think about her 24/7, I cannot get her out of my mind. But I'm NOT complaining!
Hmmm...I wonder if Shania knows how much her fans think and talk about her? Won't that be wierd if you were famous and you had millions and millions of people talking about you constantly in a positive way? I don't talk about Shania at all. I'm not some fanatic who must boast about her all the time. My friends and I don't talk about music very much, so Shania's name doesn't come up much, except when one of her songs come on the radio.

Could you please define fanatic for me, because I know many fans but few fanatics. Not intending to create a controversy, but it seems that whenever someone doesn't share the passions of others they refer to them as fanatics. It almost seems as if they are threatened in some way by this passion. I don't see any other reason to label people and act as if they are wrong because they have strong feelings. I don't speak about Shania outside of the forums and my family, but just because others do does not make them fanatics in my eyes. In fact thier passion and strength of conviction is inspirational, and at times envyable.

I don't see how defending a person you love whether you know them or not is wrong. Atleast you are treating them with respect. What I can't understand is why people feel the need to bash someone they've never met, that just seems small and silly to me. People love Shania for what she gives them. But why bash her? Other than a few people in country music who haven't got what it takes to keep up Shania hasn't taken anything from anyone. The logic behind fanship I understand, because if you feel that someone has given something to you you want to give something back, and adoration is all most fans have to give. But to try and demean Shania, and her fans is illogocal. She could not have possibly done any harm to those people nor have her fans, so why attack. It seems to me to be a character flaw.
