Hey guys! I was just surfing eBay looking for Shania stuff *as always* and ran across a so-called signed DBS cassette... well, the seller claims that it was signed at FAN FAIR... that's kinda impossible considering Shania hasn't been there since what, 1996? and DBS was released in like, 1998!

Anyone who has ever seen Shania's autograph can tell that that's not hers. It's not even close. Thanks for the info.

I e-mailed the seller... why am I not surprised that they haven't written back? :rolleyes:
:funny: HAHAHA, that isn't even CLOSE to a Shania signature!!! we (the "gang" you know who you are:p) saw a lot of autographs one and a half week ago, and none of them were even close to this sorry excuse for a copy! Look at the S and the T for example:funny: blah, ppl try to earn money in the worst ways :rolleyes:

Yeah I hope so too!
Guess only a fan would buy something like that and the fans know what Shania's autograph looks like, and that one ain't the real thing!
Hey, even I could scribble something better than that! :p
I don't think the guy has ever seen an actual Shania autograph!

Jeez, I'm sorry to hear about this. I bought the poster for $100 cuz it looked real to me. In my heart and soul I believe it is actually signed by Shania. Well thanks for all your input, I bought it because I believe that all of you wanted it for yourself and didn't want anyone else to bid on it so it could be yours...I know your schemes...you don't fool me!!!

Umm. . I don't believe any of the members are lying. Many of them have actual autographs from meeting Shania in person. . .so they would know if the autograph was a fake or not.
These types of scams are everywhere on the internet. I'll never buy an autograph unless I have solid proof that it's real!

I at least hope it's a rare poster! Man, I'd feel screwed! The only "autographed" thing I have is an 8x10 from her FC but you can tell it was just a stamp... grr...

I almost bought my father an autographed picture of Mohammad Ali off of E-bay. . . but I later found out it was a fake! :scowl:
