I sent this poem to a poetry contest a few weeks ago. I hope you like it.
Oh what a time to offer out a prize of a thousand bucks,
When I see all the starving kids, it realy, REALY SUCKS!!
I know there's plenty ways of sharing out this money,
When these poor kids, bare feet and all, would DIE for a taste of HONEY.
Good fresh bread, a drink of milk, a nice soft bed to lie.
A mum and dad to share there love, to hold them when they cry.
But thank for the offer friend, but think, there's better ways,
Please send it on to all poor kids, with HOPE, my LOVE and
PRAYERS.
