I bought it at a not to bad 15.78 USD at Wal Mart yesterday i was there as soon as the stocked it. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its totally awesome, eccspecially the 10 min preview of TTT and the extended version available in November..so anybody agree in saying this movie and dvd is totally awesome?

The movie is very good, I enjoyed wacthing it for the 4th time (I saw it 3 times at the Cinima!) :) The specail fetaures disk was good too, I really enjoyed the 3 documentarys, the featureette's I had seen before so wacthed them on the DVD, same with the Enya video and TV spots.

I did wacth the Trailers again because they are superb and well worth wacthing again. The computer game looks rubbish on the Playstation 2, I'm hoping the recently addnoced Gamecube version looks better as I will be buying it.

The preview of The Two Towers was great! Helms Deep looks better than anything I imagioned reading the book and I'm no longer skepical about Andy Serkis as Gollum, The BBC radio play's Gollum is still the best but the movie one seem's to be very good! The woman playing Eyrowin looks quite hot :smirk: can't watie to see that movie! :)

The extended DVD preview was okay, but keeping the gift giving sence out of this verson of the movie was a little stupid. We already have that on pre order :D

All in all a good DVD package. Not the best but still very good :)

Hmm... I think I'm one of the few people who haven't seen it. I'm really not into all these BIG movies that everyone always raves about. I haven't seen Spiderman, or Attack of the Clones. I haven't seen Gladiator or American Beauty, or any of all these Oscar-winning movies. I tend to like ones people hate. ;)

Yeah the indie scene is where its at in my opinion. I was suprised by Lord of the rings. I don't like movies where all the money is spent on effects, and theen just throw a story together.

Excellent movie, some great ideas, conceptions and adaptations, but, like in 95% of the cases, the book is slightly better.
