does anyone know how to make my browser java enabled...it somehow got turned off or something becuase lately i cant get into the fan chat or other games and things....help please :)

What browser do you use? IE Netscape Opera?

Ok, I have the german version only, so the words are probably not exactly the same as I had to translate them.

Go to Options/Preferences somewhere in the menu. It's in the menu on the left of the '?' Help menu in my version.
Inside this window you click on the last thing on the top (that what says security, programs...)

You should see a list with lot of |X| boxes. Scroll down until you see 'Microsoft VM' There should be 3 options, one of those enabled Java, but I don't know which one. Just try it out.

Hope this helps, maybe someone else can give you more detailed information, as I don't use IE

FanChat werks for me and I only have 'JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled' under 'Microsoft VM'.

Also, have you recently upgraded to IE6?

What Windows version do you have? If you haven't upgraded to IE6, then it's just trivial hypothetics. If you didn't upgrade to IE6, you won't have to get a patch for Java from microsoft.com to make it werk.

the little java games that come with it do work tho so i dunno what the problem is...leave your thoughts over the night im going to bed goodnight

Curti, can you open up (on IE) Tools > Internet Options > Advanced, and then scroll down to Microsoft VM and take a screenshot? Just to see for ourselves.
