I've listened to it now,and to be honest...........it isn't a great album..................
There are some highlights on the album like Ka-Ching and IGGG and a few others,but if you listen to the blue IGGG it's awful!
I hope the country version is a lot better.I've listened to some songs on CMT.com and they sound more "Full""The red version is so "flat".............
My husband said it's al sounding the same..................

I haven't heard the blue (International Version) but I can tell you from my point of view, the Country and Pop versions (Green and Red) Rock. I don't like KA-Ching though, but love UP, I'm not in the mood and in my car. For us, it's a tough call on which version of each song is the best. I think we can download the Blue version for free, you may be able todownload one of the other versions for free. I think it's somewhere in the cover of the CD on what to do and how to do it.

I think the music will grow on you ;)

I have heard all of the green and red versions and half the blue versions. While the blue is different, it is geared for countries who like that sort of music. And to be honest the blue is not that bad! Whatever the blue lacks in some peoples taste, She makes up for with the green and red versions. WOW! She really outdid herself with this album. Talk about Quantity AND Quality!!!! She is truly an amazing artist!!!! To me, the whole album is a highlight. To me the red version is the most "full"!!! These albums are FAR from sounding the same. There is a definant difference with the Red and Blue. The ever-present banjos and fiddles are replaced with a more pop oriented instruments. She is really giving her fans more bang for their bucks!!!!!!!!! We know for sure we have 57 different songs. There is a possiblity of 144 songs if the rumor of there being 4 versions of blue to download is true! I mean wow! Who has EVER done this in history! I have listened to it over and over and over again and I cannot get tired of it! Up is truly a masterpiece!!! The wait was definately worth it!!! These lyrics are not shallow like most songs you hear on the radio now-a-days! There are so many socaial statements on this album- a true rarity in the music industry! Her lyrics are so deep, and one of a kind- another rarity in the monotanous industry. She has something on the versions of Up, something for every gender, race, belief...you name it...Up has it all, and then some. This is one of the most postive, uplifting albums I have ever heard. She WILL go down in history and cement her place in history as one of the most sucessful artist of all time. You can bet your bottom dollar on that!

To make a long story short. Yepper, I agree with everything you stated. It is a great album and worth the $10.00 or so. Of course, not everyone is gonna like it. She does use a different voice, and she does use different music. IGGG is the only song that sounds like her COO album and really, even that is different.

Everyone has different opinions, and I'm sure some are not going to like it, others will love it, and for some it will be a so-so album. But that is the way everything in life is. Different strokes for different folks. It's what makes the world go around huh?

I can't see how the Country folks won't like the Green (Country) version though. I mean, it is truely country.

oh well! As Shania would put it, C'est La Vie. It is sad that people are already dissing the album and it has not been released yet. There cannot be that many opinionated people that have heard the album. Just going on there intuition. I guess there are 2 kinds of people: Shania fans, and closet shania fans. They pretend to hate her, but they will buy the album. You'll see..she will make history...again!

You can bet your bottom dollar in time that she will get us good and make all the closet fans come on over! This album is so good, so UP-lifting, all those people will be saying they are not in the mood to say no to not listening to the album. So for those who still do not like her, let me tell you, she's not just a pretty face, she is a true artist. It only hurts me when Im breathing and when people diss shania. so...c'est la vie...whatever will be will be..you will see! She will Rock this country...right out of this world cause she's got a way! I don't know why I feel this way, but Im in love with her music and it gets me every time! For those who do not like the album, again, no one needs to know how crazy you are! While every is entitled to their own opinion, I just gotta ask...What made em say that?

I read in the booklet we can d/l the blue version,but not when we can do that.I'm sure the green one will be one I will like more:)
I'm sure the album will grow on me,and I'm still a huge Shania fan!

I should of added to my first message that I don't like the music of all the songs,but the lyrics are as always GREAT!!

And also I think it's great marketing strategy to make one version downloadable for the fans:) If anyone understands how the market works,it's Shania!!

Maybe the album as a whole will grow on me,but it isn't as with TWIM and COO that I like all songs immidiatly.
I'm still a huge Shania fan,nothing will change that!!!:)

Here in the Netherlands it's already in the stores:)
I don't understand why cause the release date was the 18th,but I'm not complaining.
And I'm not dissing,but just commented of what I've heard of the red version and am currently listening to the blue version again to see if my opinion will change........:) ;)
I'm not saying i don't like the album,but some songs are music- wise looking alike,but the lyrics are as always strong.Shania is still my very favourite singer!!!!:)

The stores often have the CD's a few days before their official release date but they're not supposed to put them on the shelves until the official date. Of course, not all stores pay attention to that ;)

Got my copy on Friday - there were about 10 cds in the bin when I came in, looked around the shop for about 20 minutes, came back & there was only 1 left!!!

Lucky me - and for only 22.90 Euros! :)

But the blue version still is awful IMHO.

Favourites so far are Ka-Ching!! Up!! IGGG and it only hurts when I'm breathing:)

just got up in post as i pre orderd it and 1 day before usa !!! yay anyhoo just thought i would gime my first impressions the red version is the more comercial version and therefore i can see most of the singles comeing from this but the blue is at first weired but its because i think its flavoured by the middle east like belly danceing kinda music its very good once you get over the shock but now i am gonna have to order the green on import and spend more money but as its shania i DONT CARE !!! :-)

Don't feel bad about not loving UP! right off the bat. COO is an AMAZING album and it's hard for UP! to follow that album. People probably expected UP! to be a lot like COO, and it's not, which probably shocks people. Shania can't get everyone to like each new release more than the previous release. I'm sure the album will grow on you in time. I like some songs better in the "green" version, and like other songs better in the "Red" version. By the way, I don't really like the blue CD either; not because it's bad, but because that is just not the type of music I like. I love the red and blue CDs though. :)

OMG!I got the album today!I actually wasn't expecting getting it today but it sure was a nice surprise! :D

So i've only listened to it for like an hour or two but i knew it right away that i'd love this album!I still need to listen to the blue version....but from what i heard i'll probably listen to the red version the most.

So if i had to pick some favorites now it had to be
