http://www.muchmusic.com/tv/specials/onehitwondersday.asp They do not go back far enough though - the best one hit wonders were in the 50s and early 60s!:p

I would agree - also I am not sure how accurate it is cuz several of these artists had other hits - at least I thought so - like Julie London and the The Elegants to mention just a couple.
i think they need to do their research better lol

I thought Kate Bush's biggest hit was "Wuthering Heights"

The also omitted The Aquatones "You" from 1958! That song is a spine tingler.

These are the lyrics - what a song and rendition:
YOU
The Aquatones
My darling, I'm lonely
Now that you're gone
Please come back to me
You are the answer to my prayer
I want to love you
And I swear to live my life
With one desire, you
I believed the sweet things that you said
You lied to me and instead you broke my heart
You, yes you
My darling come back and stay with me
I live just for you
We'll be so happy together
Please come back to me
It isn't right you'll never know
I am so sad why did you go
You broke my heart you, yes you
