I sense the forum web site is slowing down... A while back the http://www.shania-twain.org/mb board was by far the slowest, but now it is faster than this site.

Is it just me - or do you find the forum site http://www.shaniaforums.com a lot slower?

Some days Forums are rather fast, but for example tonight it loads slowly for me too...

Interesting, We all say slow, the Poll says NO CHANGE... I could sail to Aberdeen and back the time it take the forum to load!

I think I will swim, backstroke. That way I can watch the Meteor shower too.... and then post a reply... maybe, if the page has loaded.... ;)

Related to this. when I reply to a thread, it starts to load the page kinda from scratch. says 60+ items to be loaded and it takes foreveeeeer for the page to load. *sigh*

And now we have been "relegated" to the 3rd division... Hmm Fix the Problem Guys... Us Europhiles have to PAY big time for our online time, no FREE local calls for us!!!!!

it varies - tonite i have no problem with the forums or the boards loading fast - in the past week at times they have been so slow at times i gave up on them.

Yeah, did for a bit speed up last night, but this AM back to slow again. Could be the increase in CMT Board posters, looking at your letters and thinking of some way of getting back at Shania..

Nah, some nice post, very PRO Shania on that site - just a few that are ... mmmm 'nuff said.

Get broadband, works fine here :p Or signup for one of the ISP's which let you dialup on an 0800 or 0808 number maybe..

Broadband, what is that, Oh that's right, something the privillaged few in major city's enjoy... You tell me when Broadband is coming to Fyvie (Just 25 miles from Aberdeen the Oil capital of Europe) then Phil? 'cause BT can not!!!! Grrr.

Best speed I can manage is 14.4 on analogue... Oh and you are at least Ģ12 to Ģ15 per month for the "free call" service, no such thing as a free internet connection, not in the UK Phil.

Of couse it is only when you travel and see how cheap broad band is in the USA and Canada you realise you big a RIP OFF the UK is. This is the major reason we have fewer broadband connections that any other country in the EEC.

I am OK on the vessel though, 6 to 7Kb per second via InmarSat, but this site still very slow... So getting back to the subject of this thread... What is wrong with the server or provider for this site?

Very Slow again this AM and I am the only person reported on this site. What is going on. The boards load in half this time.
