What happened to THE BODYGUARD sequel starring Shania?

Several years ago, I read in some mag that Shania was being considered for a sequel to THE BODYGUARD. Considering Kevin Costner's desperate need for a hit and Shania Twain's then up-and-coming star, I thought that they would do the movie...
Anyone knows anything about that rumour?
Was the movie nixed?
If Shania ever wanted to do a film,something along the lines of THE BODYGUARD would be really cool, though I frankly see her in a musical version of Wonder Woman (JUST KIDDING!!!!:)

Nope,the signature feature doesn't allow for including pics because the IMG UBB code feature is off.
I just created an avatar in Photoshop, then I typed a line after the text and inserted the image using the IMG tab.

Shania has recently said that she's not really interested in making movies. Some of her more recent magazine articles have mentioned this.

And she's too short to play Wonder Woman. But she'd still look great in that costume. ;)

I agree, I see her star in something like Wonder Woman, The Matrix or X-Men for some reason. Maybe it's because of her videos for I'm Gonna Getcha Good and That Don't Impress Me Much. I see her wearing a cape and being fiesty

I don't know about The Bobyguard tho...it's kinda so-so as a movie, especially that line when Whitney goes "there's a killer in my house??". Her face looks as blank and emotionless as can be..LOL...At least when I watch that movie I laugh (at all the wrong places)

I read in an interview where Shania said she wouldn't kiss another guy in a movie cause she's married to Mutt...She would never do that to him, she's not an actress and Mutt's the only guy she wants to kiss. I guess Shania's feels she'd be cheating on Mutt. :love: So her movie roles would be limited. :D

Just look at Shania's videos. She could have put kissing scenes in tons of them especially "You're Still The One" and "Home Ain't Where..." but didn't cause of Mutt. Shania won't go that far. :love: :kiss:
