Just a question. Some of my posts have been deleted. Yesterday when I signed off, I had 643 posts. This morning when I signed on, I had 621 posts. I noticed Shanianuts had over 19,000 posts and now has 17,997 posts. Why are posts being deleted. I am not trying to start trouble, I am just wondering why some of my thoughts and opinions are being censored?

Matt will explain more, but I do know he deleted one old thread from the now hidden chain games forum..

I have no idea about anything else.

what is the hidden chain games forum... I have never been there so there should be nothing to explain. Not a biggy to me but I know Shanianuts and Benperkins lost about 1000 posts. Pretty low if you ask me. I posted in the Shania forum becuase that is whree I post 95% of my stuff. Where the majority of people go. We should have explanations before something like this occurs. Again, pretty rotton. But again, I guess that is why I am not a moderator or administrator.

It might have something to do with him experimenting with the newer version of the forums software, he will make an upgrade soon. He's the only one who can answer that. It might not have been a conscious action.

I'll concede that. I am jumping the gun too soon. I hope without offense. It just "befuddled" me to see so many of our posts gone. It was really not a big deal to me, I only lost about 20 posts, but for Shanianuts and Benperkins who lost somewhere around 1000 posts. Thats all.

Actually the chain games forum is no longer hidden, it's just gone. :p I moved all the threads from it into the Open forum a while ago.

I did delete an (1) old thread this morning which is probably why some notice the change in post counts.

Kerawal, your post count probably went down a little because of posts that were included on threads that have been deleted for one reason or another over the past couple months. It just wasn't until i updated the counters this morning that the forums program actually recounted everyone's total post count to accurately reflect your true number of posts.

OMG i just noticed that my number of posts has been expired.....about 200 of them!!I had about 2834 or something.What happened?Can anybody help me on this?Man!This is so frustrating:sad:

That was probably my fault... I deleted an old chain thread which probably accounted for the lost posts. Nothing major was lost, just one of those chain threads.
