Reps for the 29-year-old Klum confirmed the couple was separating after five years of marriage. "The split is mutual and amicable," Klum's camp says.

Klum is married to hairstylist Ric Pipino.

The couple had homes in New York and Germany. They didn't have any children.

No further details of the split were released.
