I gotta get this off my chest. It's great that Shania's having a baby. But ppl you gotta realize she's only 1 of a billion ppl pregnant. Babies are born every single day but they don't get this type of hype. Giving birth is a miracle, I don't care who you are. I don't see why all of you are makin such a big deal outta this. Yeah, a baby is a big deal. Just because Shania is Shania and she's having a baby doesn't mean that you just go and lose your minds. I'm saying that if you lose your mind and go crazy over Shania's baby you should lose your mind and go crazy over every baby that's brought into this world. That's all I have to say about this subject.

Wild One, I have to say I totally agree with you. Put aside the fact that I am very happy for Shania, I'd have to say I'm very happy for anyone having a baby. I look at my soon-to-be 3 year old son and still feel he's a miracle. You're absolutely right - every child born into this world is a miracle. But, as for what Fire Man said, I have to partly agree with him, as well. This forum is based on Shania and that is BIG news for her. As far as the going crazy and screaming and totally losing control, that's bringing it a little over the edge. So, I could relate to both your view points.

It's just like anything else that involves a celebrity. Lots of people have that disease Michael J Fox has but he's the only person anyone gives a rats *** about, same with Christopher Reeves being paralized, If it's a celebrity it's blown way out of proportion & we're all fans of Shania's so this is gonna be like anything else she's done we're gonna talk about it for awhile til the novelty wears off (or til she has the kid). Personally I don't really care that much, I mean I'm happy for her but I'm not gonna get over exited like some people.

Not everyone in this world means as much to us as Shania. Babies born in our families have a special place in our hearts. Best friends who we care about that are expecting a child as well would fit here. Shania is Shania, we all love her and wish the best. A lot can go wrong during a prenancy. We all should include her in our prayers for her health as well as the baby!
