Shania on Australian radio?

Hi everyone. I'm new to the Shania Forums and this is my first post! I'm live in Australia where Shania had massive success with Come on Over.

I was wondering if there are any Australian posters in here? have you heard I'm Gonna Getcha Good on radio? I've heard it once early on a sunday morning and never again (im talking about fox fm, nova, mix fm). What song off Up! would be an Australian radio hit? because I'm Gonna Getcha Good certainly has not been one. If the next single flops at radio it will hurt album sales. Remeber when shania hit #1 with Your Still the One and #2 with From This Moment On and That Don't Impress Me Much? Man I Feel like a woman hit #4. Having those hit songs is what made Come On Over the biggest selling album of the 90's here (for example Kylie Minogue's album has gone platnium 7 times, Shania went platnium 15 times over a year and a bit) That's how popular Shania was.
(Up! was #1 in Vic/Tas, Queensland but #5 in WA and #4 in SA, must have been #2 or #3 in NSW to get the overall #1 - she needs a radio hit to maintain that)

Let's get Shania back on Australian radio! I miss being able to turn on the radio and be assured of hearing a shania song.

Hello fellow Aussie. I'm new here too. Haven't heard Shania on any other radio except for AC radio stations such as mix. But yeah, "Up" is #1 in Australia, however, I was a little disappointed that it's not certified Platinum yet.

All we can do is to support Shania. It's very disappointing that radio aren't supporting Shania's new music, but I say: stuff 'em!!!!

If they wanna play crap music, then that's their problem. It's up to us to buy Shania's music and to make UP! a success. Then maybe, just maybe, radio will get the message.
