Not sure if anyone has noticed, but there are some really good reviews of Up! on Amazon. Of course there are a few that I strongly disagree with, but that's what makes the world go round...

Shanianuts!----Where did you come by the information? I hope you are correct. I haven't seen anywhere near that # of reviews. Clarify please it would be great to pass on information to other boards. 4 out of 5 stars is terrific.
170 reviews and the average rating is 4 out of 5... that's really impressive, i wasn't expecting that.

Anybody else write a review for "Up!"? I wrote "New, Different, & Refreshing" and gave her 5 stars - duh! :)
If you would, please click on 'yes' where is asks if this review was helpful. When people see that, it might make them want to buy the CD. Thanks! :)
Hi all, not sure if they will "post" it, but just sent this one off - EVERYONE SEND A REVUE WITH 5 STARS... LETS GET THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO GIVE IT 5... Can never get it to 5 out of 5 as there will always be the bad revue... anyway
I have waited a long time to get my hands on this double CD as I am an Officer in the Merchant Navy, but here we are in Rotterdam so I have the RED Pop and Blue World versions.
On the very 1st listen about 14 of the 19 tracks on this One and a quarter hour extravanganza leap out at you. Play the Red CD again and you are in big trouble, for these songs are infectious and addictive. I would think this album is going to be in the UK album chart for a long, long time as at least 6 if not more tracks have "hit single" written all over them. Her husband producer "Mutt" Lange has used his considerable talent on this musical masterpiece.
I rate this album up with the "greats" Yes joining the handful of CD's I would have to keep close to me should the ship I am on ever sink! The Green C & W version is a free download and features the pedal steel, bango and violins that are trademark Nashville. Don't expect much praise outside the EEC however for her Green Album. The C & W people are in a state of not very "civil war" right now over the Pop infulence "destroying" there "pure" idea of what is country.
The Blue World version is so musical, drawing on the Middle and Far East as well as Reggae and 3 tracks on that version in my opinion are the best of all.
Listen to the amazing "C'est La Vie" Blue track and you will be transported off to that Island Paradise you have dreamed off.
Or the driving Indian percussion of the wonderful "I'm not in the Mood (to say no) In fact the whole album cheers you, moves you like few others can. The Spanish themed "Juanita" a classic Twain song about the Woman inside you...
An emotional roller coaster of a ride, from the Smokey Bars and Clubs where Eilleen Twain first learned her craft to the clear air of her adopted new mountain home for less than the price of 2 cinema tickets!
FIVE STARS

Please everyone goto http://www.amazon.co.uk and write a five star revue there. Only 15 revues posted! That is not good. Let's make the revues for "Up!" as memorable as the album it's self.
I have just spent a very enjoyable 2 hours reading all 200 plus revues on the US Amazon site. Some very nice ones in there that make me very proud to be a Shania fan.
When people take the time and effort to write a revue on Amazon, I guess that proves that the World is not that bad a place, and Shania's music has still got "the touch".
With over 250 revues posted, this is gonna run and run :D
Oh and forgot to add, click on the yes no buttons to let the negative revuers know just exactly where they stand in the grand overall picture.
Nice to see so many forum members posting... And board members too (hi cbspock) gave you a + for that one! :) The Shania online "Family" is gonna get "Amazon" good!!!!
