How do you report an offensive PM?

I have just received a highly offensive Pm. I wish to report it but dont know how. Could some please tell me so the peritraitor can be brought 2 justice.

You can PM a moderator or the administrator.

Hmm, basicly PM is what it says it is, a private message... I must say I am not quite familiar with procedure in these type of situations..

Let´s work it out..

Under no circumstance you should post a private massage without the consent of the sender. If however you have the consent, you can post it only if it stays within the rules. If not, you can send it to the mods and we'll see what the problem is and hopefully work it out.

Surely, anyone who has a PM button has indicated that they're happy to receive PMs. However, as you say Londo, the content of such mesages should be within the Rules. I can't see the logic in anyone sending an offensive PM knowing that they're likely to be barred from the Forum.

Sometimes logic is overruled by emotion. Some members have brain injuries or other serious handicaps. It is a smart practice to consider other's feelings when posting negative comments about Shania in these forums. While a forum is for discussion lots of insensitive comments are made at times (I do not exclude myself). We just need to be more tactful about how we say things - the members here are largely biased in favor of Shania - they are not sheep as some members like to comment - they are simply devoted (very devoted fans) - who do not like negatives about Shania - especially subjective thoughts - broadcast repeatedly and loudly - just a little food for thought.

im so sorry have to say this Bobbito but of course i know here there's people with brain injuries or other serious handicaps and we all should do the best to help them and make them feel that this is their home too but we shouldn't let them act to breaking the rules all the time!!!! here there's little rules that are too easy to follow and for the best of the forums never should be broken!!! we can't let them say and does all what they want and attack or insult everybody just cause didn't like what they said!!!! this is a forums bout Shania and here all of us are too diferents but we all have Shania as a common thing!!!! if someone don't like a post of someone just have to send a p.m to Matt or the mods and we will try to solution it but sending attacking p.m's or posting topics to insult someone is not the best solution, and of course that all of u can discus all in the forums but ALWAYS RESPECTING THE OTHERS AND NEVER INSULTING OR ATTACKING!!!

and how i said before if u feel that someone insulted to u or another or just don't like what someone said instead of attack or insult please just send a p.m to Matt or mods that we are here for this....to help everybody and make this place a better place always!!!! WE ALL KNOW HOW SHANIA RESPECT EVERYBODY AND HOW CARING AND LOVELY PERSON IS SOOOOO JUST FOLLOW HER EXAMPLE AND RESPECT ONE EACH OTHERS!!!!

Great post Silvi. Its really low, to attack someone with an offewnsive PM. and as Steve said, you risk the chance of being thrown off the forums. I hope the person that did it regrets it now, and only sent it in the heat of the moment.
