About The Song "I'm Jealous"...

Maybe I'm just hearing things, but I wanted to know what everybody thought about this: it seems to me that "I'm Jealous" is almost like a throwback to the TWIM album. Especially the part where she goes "When the sun's on your skin / I can't hold it in / And I know that it's a sin / But I'm Jealous of the sun / ...", and "When it rains on your face / I almost can taste / Your beauty, your grace / I'm Jealous of the rain / ...", I don't know why, it just sounds quite similar to her TWIM ballads. Does anyone out there agree with me, or is my hearing leaving me? I hope it's not just me...

I have to agree with you in saying that if any song on Up! was in the style of TWIM, it would probably be I'm Jealous!

In the Eggars bio, it mentions how Shania & Mutt went back and listened to a lot of Shania's old writing tapes, and the Complete Limelight Sessions for ideas for "UP!". The song that came out of that search was "I'm Jealous."

I love "I'm Jealous" it's one of the best songs on the album. I do have to agree, it does sound like her ballads on TWIM! That's a good thing!:)
