I think it's cos you're the biggest poster. Whereas guys like Londo (sorry if I've annoyed you) who have like 700 posts are mods.

Bening a moderator has nothing to do with the # of posts you've got.
Sure, being a regular helps in terms of being able to be here in order to supervise things around here, but what is really needed is the sense of reponsibility a person needs in order to be a moderator.

As you can see, neither Me, Bob nor ben would do a good moderator :p

Take yourself - you are different than many new members - I see things about you I admire and respect and I have told you this in private.

I also have seen things about you that remind of my early days and my kids teenage days that I do not admire or like.

None of us are perfect - we all have our good and bad aspects.

I am not in the running for moderator and I do not know what possessed smudger to do this - he has told me things privately why he did it but I am not buying them - not yet at least!:)

I think you're right here, we all have the positive and negative about our own charecters.

Just try to make the positive outweigh the negative and try to be more right than wrong here and in life and you should get on fine.

Just cuz Bob is ahead of us does not make him be a Mod. Many of us have less post and we're here to have fun not contest...Read the line of What a way to wanna be...:) As Shania would say No body is perfect, It's not worth it.
Do we have to be perfect to be Mod's? No! So it's up to Matt who he choose.:)

Don't worry, you haven't annoyed me. Matt asked me to become a moderator at the end of of 2000, maybe beginning of 2001, and at that point I had about 450 posts, which was an acceptable rate, considerring the amount of activity on the forums at that time and the way I choose to post.

T%hanks for not geting angry. it just semed a bit weird to me at the time, but now you've made clear what hapopened and I can see why. The fact that you responded in such a positive way actually shows to me just why you were selected!
