When are Billboard going to give Up it's RIAA certification, as I see albums that have been released since have been certified but Shania hasn't (er the album that is - not Shania). Are they biased against her?
I take it the sales figures shown are from the country charts?. Poor old LeAnn Rimes looks in deep trouble these days - and yet she is such a good singer. Why is Twisted Angel not selling?
I'm going to be controversial now and say that I can't stand Alan Jackson or George Strait and fail to see how either of them could ever be nominated for 'entertainer' of the year.
Still to each his own........

I used to be a huge LeAnn fan, but I don't care for her new style and this is the first album of hers I have not bought. I like Alan and George, but not as much as a lot of other singers. :)

Certification for UP! *is* late. One theory is that Mercury might have asked the RIAA to hold off until it sells 5 million, so it can be certified Diamond (5 x 2 =10) immediately.
I don,t know where they got their figures, but my local (ONLY)
country station WXTU Phila, PA said this morning that "HOME" had certified 5 times platinum. I can,t find that anyehere else?
"UP" can,t be too far behind!

I bought the LeAnn single 'Life goes on' but haven't heard anything else off the album either so I haven't bought it.
