CMT has superbowl poll-VOTE!!

http://www.cmt.com has a poll asking what did you think of Shania's Superbowl performance?

-What a show stopper 80%
-It was ok, liked others better 3%
-Yuck.Why did she even show up 11%
-didn't see 5%

Lets try to get her at 100%

Does anybody else get perpertually annoyed with how CMT words these polls when it involves Shania?

There is really only one positive response among the four responses (which Shania is winning in a landslide). And so typical of CMT, the way the anti-Shania response is worded, I am sure the legion of Shania haters had to wipe drool off their keyboard after they voted. (Maybe that's why this response has only 12 percent of the vote, the saliva messed up their computers.)

The poll as it is:

(1) She entertained everybody! What a showstopper!
(2) It was OK, but I liked the other singers more.
(3) Yuck. Why did she even bother to show up?
(4) Didn't see it.

CMT could have kept the same four response levels, but worded (2) through (3) in a classier way. Such as:
(2) It was OK.
(3) I have seen better from Shania.


The poll as it would have been if the Super Bowl headliner had been one of Nashville's darlings instead of Shania:

(1) It was one of the best performances ever.
(2) It was pretty good
(3) It was OK
(4) Didn't watch.

Actually, the fairest poll for anyone (Shania or Nashville darling) would have had five reponses:

(1) Liked it a lot
(2) Liked it some
(3) Not sure or didn't watch.
(4) Didn't like it.
(5) Didn't like it a lot.
