Her FIRST Recording Session

I have the Master 24 track recording tapes from Shania' (Eilleen's) first recording session. Three songs plus a 2 track stereo reel-to-reel. This session is rarely mentioned. ...but first.....does anyone know when it was and where? Who was the producer? What music genre?

Ah! someone read my profile. I like it when people do their homework. This controversial recording session was featured in the VH1 series "Driven". Someone asked if I was selling them. I had THOUGHT about it. You see, I am moving and my son saw the tapes and was amazed. I had pretty much forgotten about them. I thought I would at least test the trivia knowledge of real Shania fans. She never mentions this session at age 18 and suggests that her first time in Nashville was several years after that. Those are all the clues for now.

Sorry...I have been very busy moving and will continue to be. Someone asked if I can do general posting. Sorry but I am a rookie at this.....I have never been in a forum before so I am not even sure how to do that. As you can probably figure out by now...I am testing knowledge of true Shania fans. I may provide a few bars of these songs for you to hear in the coming weeks. I am willing to bet very few people have ever heard these 3 songs.

I was under the impression that this would be a place where I would find people who knew EVERYTHING about Shania. I am surprised. Someone asked if I was selling the 24 track tapes of her first recording session. Probably not. Even though I have not spoken to her in about 7 years, I feel some sense of loyalty to not sell these tapes....although I may post a few bars of those songs at some point. I was curious to know how well Shania "fans" really know her...or is it simply superificial star-struck idol worship.
