Billboard Chart Question

I was over at billboard.com and have been wondering when I look at her stats in chart she never has a symbol by her name. Some artists usually have symbols by their name showing how much they have sold. I was wondering why Shania don't have anything beside hers, especially when she has sold 3 million albums alone in the U.S. If someone could explain this to me that would be great!

UP! has not yet been certified by the RIAA. As soon as that happens, you'll see the symbol.

They may be awaiting the 10 million diamond certification to capitalize on the publicity.

To make it "official". The RIAA sets the standards and makes sure everybody counts by the same rules. :supwink:
