Another theory on the Superbowl performance

Is it possible that Shania was singing live for the crowd with a 'live mike' but the TV company broadcast a recorded version for the viewers at home ? I believe similar things have happened in the past in the UK.

This is the first non nonsense theory on the superbowl that I`ve read for a few days - hope everyone sees your post cause why should such a professional singer like Shania stop in the middle of the song if she had the playback running... - thanx !

But Trista from "The Bachelorette" was on a talk show and when asked about attending the Superbowl and her thoughts about the performances, ( she didn't bash Shania) she just said that it was obvious it was a track playing, especially when Gwen came in.

She did say she enjoyed both performances.

Thats not possible hello the SB is live when it is on t.v. and shania can't lipsync for the producers and sing live for the crowd at the SB how would she do that when she stops to fans during the song as she heads down the staris to greet them she wasn't singing it live her lips were not moving when she turned to greet people on the left oh her. We all know she can sing she has proved it and we know there are money issues with pay for her singing it live and all t.v. restrictions of cbs etc. We all have already stated our opinions on a thread already. ( most anyway)

This is a non issue:

Shania only did the GREY CUP and SUPERBOWL 1 time.

She has sang live since she was 9 years old and on the COO, UP! tours.

She sung , LIVE at the , 2003 JUNO AWARDS. :D

As for the SUPERBOWL..........every one l.s. at the SUPERBOWL.

EVERY ONE .......from WHITNEY HOUSTON [ ANTHIMS ] to AEROSMITH.

It is done because stadium sounds comes from the P.A. or quickly set up speakers, so the sound sucks. It also has to come from your own T.V. speakers.

Shania had a live MIC at the SUPERBOWL.
The band was faking.

Anyway, what the topic creator said actually IS possiable because things like that have been done before....although her performance was lipsynched from what I can see, it is highly unlikely that a pre-recorded track was placed over the live broadcast, plus the fact that it is live anyway would make that virtually impossiable, stuff like that can only really be done in the editing room.

But at the end of the day who cares anyway,
Everyone lipsynches at the superbowl, it is no big deal! Why the media had to hype it all up in the first place is beyond me!
