I keep getting a script error i'm using internet explorer and I didgo in to internet options and advanced and unchecked the script ones but it pops up mainly whe a pop up happens and on this site is there anything I can do?

I have been getting an Error In Page message since the New Year. I e-mailed Matt about it but he hasn't replied with any solution.

I'm quoting Phil on this one but it should help, if you do it...

"Go to Tools / Internet Options / Advanced and try ticking "disable script debugging" and untick "Display a notification about every script error". Should fix the IE scripting error messages if they pop up on the screen on any of your machines."


The odd thing is, I've enabled both of those on my two computers and yet I've still never seen any error messages. Weird.

Well if you did both of those and they're still showing up, that's really weird. Phil probably knows more about it than I do so I'll see what he says...

Weird that it comes up on some machines even if you disable the error reporting.. :confused: I think it must be related to some of the banner ads as thats the only explanation I can think of for why some get the problems while others dont.
