They both are nice outfits in thier own ways! :) Celines in the "momish" way and Shanias in the out right sexy way :)

Guys I must say I think in a way they are right. Normally I like Shania's outfits. I loved her catsuit at the CMA's and the Teen People outfit and the black dress at the AMA's but no the golden dress and not the bra at the super bowl. I don't like it when her breasts are so squeezed together. I think she does not need to wear that to be sexy!!!! I would prefer other tops.

Well, Hi everyone. I have not written in a while but have been keeping up with the pages none the less. The outfits match the personalities here. Never did care much for Celines voice or character. Her stage presence is disturbing. Shania on the other hand shows variance of style. Even after having Eja. She can still be versatile in her day to day appearance, so Bob I guess this is the comment you may have been reserved to speak on.

I disagree with the comment on hormone control. I did not know who Shania was when I heard her music. I just loved her voice and style....still do.
Gotta agree again with this mag :) I think she is going over the top w/ her fashions.... She is so beautiful, I just don't like her choices of late.

Well, this is going to be a controversial discussion. I have thoroughly enjoyed all discussion on these forums. But I believe this one should change its path. Eilleen holds a special spot with me.
No need to worry that a few people don't like her style choices, no need to change discussions when people are talking about it in a respectful manner. We all hold her in a special light on some level. Just because one might say that they wish she wouldn't wear certain things, doesn't reflect on anything else about her.
We just can't change course when opinions differ.

I see nothing wrong with that.

there's always exceptions that break the rules ;) and maybe u are one of them and im not saying most of Shania fans DONT love her music too ;) but *HORMONE THING* IS A BIG AND REAL FACT OF MEN!!!! ;) and u can't change this!!! :p

The only thing I don't like about her Super Bowl outfit is the bra, there's too much focus on her breasts IMO

first........is good to see adiscussion not going into a flame war.........nice to see adult attitudes ..
From my view...our society places more empahasis on looks of the body.......and the entertainers capitalize on this when possible.......
regardless of her appearance on thise issue.....we all are here due to fact we have a common thread of interest....Shania......
whether due to her looks/ music/ both or just cause we got lost surfing.............the important point is that this forum allows us to share our thoughts and give feedback:)
Individuals are just that......and to expect all to conform to a pre-conceived ideal, is fantasy......one's views doesn't make right or wrong.but just represents our interpretation of the feelings that are invoked.
From a photographer's standpoint.....I love the outfit of shania better.......for whether it is liked or disliked..it invokes some feeling.....the other outfit.....though nice on Celine...is too easy to be overlooked due to running with "norm" .
Both girls are sucessful and enjoy a great fan base.....regardless what they wear. Their music speaks for them when it matters.

IOM Shania looked awesome on SuperBowl Sunday and her outfit was a perfect choice. Shania was the main attraction, and Celine Dion and The Dixie Chicks outfits were appropriate for their performances. If Shania would have worn something like Celine's outfit, I would have been disappointed. Sure Shania showed a lot of cleavage, but what's the big deal? Other music artists and entertainers show much more than Shania and do not get as much slack as Shania has been getting lately. The outfit was not in poor taste.
My daughter does not country music; therefore, she does not like Shania Twain. But she saw Shania's performance at the SuperBowl Halftime and said "Mom she looked really pretty." I've enjoyed all of Shania's performances the last few months and her outfits have fit the occasions.

Shania would have looked weird in Celine's clothes and vice versa. They're both great singers and performers, but comparing them is sorta impossible because the only thing they have in common is their nationality! ;)
