View Full Version : why dosent mutt travel with shania????
I was wondering why do you think that mutt never travels with shania on tour or even to the country music awards? I know all about how he is shy but I wonder why he dosent at least travel with her to the cma awards where everyone could see what a great couple they are. I feel so bad for shania when she is setting alone in the audience and tim and faith are setting together and they are all happy and poor shania is setting alone.

I know this is sad. But, you know, he wants to make the music, not to be a star. Shania once said "I miss my husband, but he understands". There's a lot of understanding between them, as Shania said, and I'm sure they miss each other and each other can uderstand. They show that Love can be strong. But I'd love to see Mutt with her...

Mutt did meet up with Shania when she was on tour and stayed with her for weeks at a time. Mutt just likes to be out of the spotlight. I think Shania has said they did not want to be a celebrity couple.

Mutt is not that shy! He just doesn't want to be a star, that's all! And he's a producer and he has to work: Shania often said he was in the studio workin' while she was here and there!
That would be too beatiful to see them together all time, but i can understand Mutt, ans Shania understands him too.

The tv reception on the tour bus wasn't good. Shania said that herself. He did travel with her on tour though. I saw him at the second Saskatoon concert hanging out in the sound area.

Mutt is one of the most successful producers out there.
So he's bussy a lot of the time. If not with working on Shania's albums, he's working on other artists' albums. He's worked with The Corrs, Backstreet Boys, Brittany Spears, Bryan Adams, and many, many more artists.
So I'm sure he's got his hands full.

Just because Mutt isn't sitting beside Shania at award shows ect... doesn't mean he's not with her. Why would Shania bring her husband to work with her! Mutt's with Shania more than we think. Alot of the time Shania tries to make out that Mutt isn't around, but in fact he's on the bus with her or waiting around. Mutt's been with Shania tons on the tour(lots in Canada, US,) award shows(he was at the Junos in Vancouver), promotional tours. He just avoids the press/media! Shania's not going to tell the world when Mutt's travelling with her! When it comes to Mutt, Shania's very private!
I don't think Mutt's with her everyday, he's got his career. And there have been times when she wouldn't see him for 10 weeks straight!
I just don't think Shania tells us much about Mutt! Why should she, he's not the celebrity, Mutt's just her husband!

I was in row 8 so I had to walk past the sound area behind the seats on the main level and as I was walking by I saw Mutt there. He was wearing a dark green t-shirt.

I agree with everyone's reasons about why he doesn't go to award shows, tour all the time with her, etc. He is a busy and private guy.

He looked like Mutt in a dark green t-shirt. He was just standing there looking at some switches or something. he was probably doing sound stuff for the show. I know he did that at some shows.

Ya, Mutt usually runs the sound board when he's on tour with her. He ran it during Shania's first tour across Canada in 98 starting in Sudbury. And tons of other dates across the US! I think he also did UK dates as well.
Remember when Shania was asked whether Mutt was going to be with her during the first leg of her tour across Canada in 98, Shania said no, she wasn't sure, that Mutt was a huge football fan(soccer) and was probably going to France to the World Cup!
She knew what Mutt was going to do. If she told the press that Mutt was going to run the boards, they'd have a photo frenzy on the guy. The press even got a photo of Mutt looking at the hockey awards in the Arena in Sudbury and had a bit of an interview with him that was published in the paper!

I think they want to know whether or not you thought Mutt was good looking. Since you're a girl, what's your opinion on Mutt's looks. Is he tall, skinny, what was his hair like ect... I think that's what they want to know about Mutt! HE! HE!

He's kinda tall I guess, he looked like he needed to comb his hair, it didn't really look blond either it looked more brown and he needed to shave.

I understand fully that mutt is busy and also dosent want to be a star and concentrate on his work but he could go to the awards shows strictly as shanias loving husband and not a star. I think if they were together at a show they would steal the show and I think they would look 10000000 times better together than tim and faith do!!!!!!!

Yeah, but Mutt has always been in the background, the first show they show up together at, he, or should I say they will get swamped by the media, especially now that they have a baby. Mutt just does not want that attention.

Holding Shania's hand at an awards ceremony, that's just publicity. Why would Mutt do that.
How about Mutt holding Shania's hand at her doctors appointment when she finds out she's pregnant for sure or being in the delivery room when she delivers the baby, now that's a loving husband!
Not many people know what Mutt looks like. Just die-hard fans who have seen recent pics of him on the web! The only time Mutt has a pic taken of him is when he's with Shania!
Mutt's going to beable to take the baby anywhere by himself without being hassled by the media. He's got the perfect life. He's got total privacy, he's worth millions, married to Shania Twain, and has a new baby on the way. Mutt has everything he could ever want!
