Slow ticket sales Hyde Park?

Morning All,

I only found out about the Hyde Park Concert yesterday and went to ticketmaster... I was VERY suprised to be able to buy Gold tickets for £45.

Seeing as this forum knew about the concert ages ago I would have thought it would have been sold out in hours.... but clearly not!

So will they sell enough.... I hope so!!!

If you click on The Gold option rather than best available you will see tickets available

In fact, I just typed in that I wanted 50 Gold tickets..... the man from ticketmaster, he say yes!

hmm... I remember about a month ago or so,
also testing the amount of GOLD tickets I could
possibly get... at one time 3 was the tops...

it's possible that some tickets have been returned...
wrong billing address for credit card, etc. reason...

Either that or they have made the Gold area bigger to make a few more pounds in! Just hope it is a nice dry night.. we will be driving to and from Devon on the day!

I don't really care about the weather...as long as Shania will be there, there could be a thunder storm for all I care:p

As the concert is in Hyde Park I guess they will sell as many tickets as people who want to go, after all the capacity is not restricted to the number of seats available. Didn't one of the concerts there house 100,000, so as Shania is hardly likely to sell that many on her own, then I would imagine there will always be plenty of tickets available right up to the end. I'm sure a more than healthy number will turn out to see her.

The Ticketmaster site is very confusing. If you ask for Best Available you will be offered General Standing at £35. If you select Gold Standing you will be offered that one!!

Not yet, but giving the advert for it big licks on Sky Digital over here. Tom in Galway, where I think some days I have died and gone to heaven :)
