Ok, Don't get me wrong Shania is my all- time favorite artist in any kind of music. But , recently rented Shania Twain Live DVD she did't move around that much on Stage to songs like :You Win my Love,Man I feel like a women , etc.
What do you all think?:)

I think she moves around just fine. She's not much of a dancer, but she uses the space around her well.

I agree.:) Shania is a singer and not a dancer, so she can move around as much or as little as she wants to on stage.:)

haha...in spirit an enthusiasm she does! ;)
sorry, i cant spell
Well if you have ever been to a Shania concert you would know that shes all over the stage...even to say hello and sing to the people in the seats BEHIND the stage :) she even gets out into the crowd, so yes i think she does move around and use the stage quite well throughout the concert :D
One of my favorite things about Shania is her stage presence and the way she can entertain an audience. She does not need flashy stage props, or dancers, or anything else to lean on. She has such a strong charisma on stage, that just her alone is what makes it a great experience.
One of her greatest talents, to the surpise of her critics, is how natural she is on stage. She was truly made to be on stage. It is her element.

No "No"s? Oh, no!
I have never been to a Shania concert,so I didn't vote.I'll be able to judge after July 12th!
I saw Bonnie Raitt in concert last night. She hardly moves about on stage at all,but it was a superb performance.Dolly Parton is a wonderful performer, but she does not jump round an awful lot on stage.
How much an artiste moves around the stage is not how I judge their performance. For example, I'm sure S-club 7 or whatever they're called now move alot on stage, but I know I'd be sooo bored by them!
of course Michael Jackson moves around alot on stage. He is a brilliant dancer. But I can-not think of any other singer who can move like he can.
My test of a great performer is not how much they move, but can they move you

You haven't got a concert video/DVD?
Quote from Shaniafan
"You haven't got
a concert video/DVD"
Yeah,I've got the Shania Twain Live vid & I saw the one with Elton John, but I've not yet been to an actual Shania concert-roll on Jully 12th!
From the vids,Shania seems very good in concert.
But I'll wait till I've seen her for real.
Some artistes who are not natural dancers, when they jump around stage alot I wish they would just concentrate on singing/playing well.

I havenīt see her in the stage....yet. The 12th Iīll be able to give a good opinion but I prefer she just sing instead of dancing for all the stage and get tired. Itīs difficult sing as good as Shania does and dance hard.

She seems that gives all her energy at stage :]

When I saw her in Chicago. . she didn't have near as much energy as she did in the 'Honey, I'm Home' video. :uhh:
Shania walked around the stage alot. . . but nothing close to what I kinda expected. :dunno:
She's still an awesome performer and I'd love to see her again. :)
Maybe she feels that she has nothing to prove this time around, so she's relaxed and taking it easy. :)
I go to hear the music anyway, not to see her run around and jump. :p
i think she moves around plenty still...in the HIH video its clips from various different parts of her concert so it shows the most exciting parts for a lot of it....but maybe she has toned it down just a tad :dunno:

Well, here's the thing:
During her own concerts she definately moves around the stage a LOT! :)
BUT, during Tv-Shows or Awards or those sorta things (all but her own concerts), she's not.... :(
I don't know why, but she always stays at one place. Maybe to be close to her band, I dunno, but I certainly think/feel she could do a lot better, like at her own concerts! :)
But the poll was about 'in concert', so that's definately a YES! :D

TV is too restrictive - she has said so often.
I would like to see several holograms of her on her stage show so everyone gets a better view.

Yeah, but you can change that.... (like for example; move a bit more on the stage....! :))
Holograms!! LOL! (A bit like what she's doing now on her Tour at the Intro....;) : )
But that would be fair yeah....:)

I think she feels confined and restricted on TV..not "at home"..as she does in her concerts..and that is why she does not act like a "whirling dervish" there..

Well for Chicago I couldn't notice her movement cause I wasn't into the show like I should of (NEVER GO TO SHANIA SHOW 45-55 mins LATE or BRING SISTER THAT DIDN'T WANT TO COME WITH IN FIRST PLACE...Wreck the night:mad: )
But Milwaukee she was moving but helps when she mostly hangs around the side of the stage where you sit:D
