View Full Version : Fan Club Giving Out Free Tickets To Chicago Concert!

If you are a member of the Shania Twain Official Fan Club, you can request up to 4 tickets for the Chicago show. You get them on a first come first serve basis, so request them quick, before they run out. :) Here's some more info....

SHANIA TWAIN UP! - LIVE IN CHICAGO TICKET GIVEAWAY!


On July 27th, Shania Twain will perform a FREE outdoor, Evening concert at Hutchinson Field in Chicago's Grant Park. Shania has reserved a block of tickets exclusively for Shania Twain Fan Club members to attend the show! These general admission tickets are free and available to any and all Club members that would like to attend the show!


For those of you unable to attend, don't worry, this concert will be filmed for an upcoming NBC special to air in August 2003, marking Shania's 4th network special.

"I'm so looking forward to coming back to the States to play a full concert. Playing live in front of the fans is what I enjoy the most. Chicago totally rocked the last time I played there and I can't think of a better place to play my first US live concert in 2 1/2 years. We're going to have a blast Chicago!" exclaims Twain.

Enter your "Shania Twain UP! - Live in Chicago" ticket request at the Fan Club Website today, as tickets are available on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last! Members MUST be available to pick up their tickets at a to-be-determined Chicago location on the date of the show - Sunday, July 27th. The Shania Twain Fan Club will be in touch via email by mid-July to provide further instructions on how, when and where to pick up your tickets to the SHANIA TWAIN UP! - LIVE IN CHICAGO concert event.

Now we´re talking!! :D :D This is something that I really appreciate!! :up: :up: It seems that it´d be possible for European fans also to attend.. :) Although I´m not able to go there.. ;) Very nice to hear this and I hope many of us will make it there!! :D

For once they are not restricting this offer to residents of the USA and the tix are free!! Of course you gotta pay your own way to Chicago but that's fair enough. This is the first non discriminatory offer the fan club has made. Might be a good idea if everyone congratulated them on their board for doing this. Just a little encouragement...

HAHA- congratulate them on WHAT?? They're just general admission tix- I've already got mine. When they get me VIP tickets then I say, thanks... but until then, it was either they give away those tickets or lose a lot of business... the way I see it, the FC had no other option than to give away those tickets- especially after the delay of news AND all the promises they've made and then proceeded to break.:rolleyes:

What you say is quite right. I would have expected more. BUT this is one occasion when all fan club members, not just US residents, have an equal chance at a benefit. It will not help our situation to do nothing but complain so if they do one little thing right, it is only good psychology to let them know.

I suppose... and I'm happy for all of our international fans that FINALLY get a break- I'd rather congratulate THEM :)
