how do you convince your dad to let you go to shania concert with your buddies

i want to to go to a shania concert this fall with my friends but chances are it'll be on a school day :rolleyes: and how do i convince him i'll be safe? HELP!if i can find out how much good tickets cost and i have enough money and make a good friend here maybe one of you could go if it was okay and if you wanted to:) !!!

Is your dad really strict about that? I cant imagine going to a Shania concert that would be dangerous and all. I havent been to her concert yet and Im dying to go. Personally there is nothing that would stop me from going. Im living on my own now but even if I did live with my parents and they told me not to go I still would ;) I have no idea how much good tickets would cost. I know I want like front row seats but usually those are reserved for contests and giveaways.

Well, I hope you can go. Just do some begging if you have to.

Wow... my parents would LOVE for me to be able to go with my friends to a concert- too bad all my friends are immature and don't like country...

You need to tell your dad to face reality- it's a COUNTRY show. NOTHING bad happens... there's no mosh pits, not too many drunk people, no drugs going around... I see little kids at country shows all the time. If you're over 16, he really shouldn't have a problem with it. I'm 17 and my parents have wanted me to find someone else to go to concerts with for a couple years now...

Make out and print a permission slip and say your going on a school thing. Your class is going to learn about something thats in the area, thats what I"d do. :p

But your dad has a point. Shania is very dangerous. Her hair piece could fly off, whip through the audience and as you lunge to catch it, you lose your balance, fall over the balcony, and land directly on a microphone stand. Which pierces your heart and makes you bleed profusely.

But you don't die from that.

You have a heart attack when Shania rushes over to see if you are OK.

you people! i say that in a good way! first of all, i can't trip or jump for a hair peice not that i wouldn't try! heck! i can't even stand on my own that's the problem! second he's not really strict but he still might not let me go but even if he wont lieing is horrible especially when your the one good kid in the family who has any chance of having a decent life+ chance of living a fulll life.. you know the one offspring my father can actually take pride in being his own.. i need to get a bunch of people going if i do i have a better chance of getting to go myself your welcome to at least see if you can come. talk with me about it!!
