The Corrs new Single, Irrestable, was it the right choice??

Well, i found out today the 'Irrestable" i don't think I spelled it right.. is the next single off their album, it said that in the song, it will include live cuts from i think Somebody for Someone and Give Me A Reason. But even though I like the song, i don't think it is the best choice. I think Radio, Give Me A Reason, Say, Hurt Before would all be good follow ups, what do you all think??

When I heard "Irresistible" for the first time (June 10, 2000, in London, Fleadh Festival, 1st time performed ever... *lol*) I really liked it! It's so much better live! But then, the more I heard it the less I liked it and I think it's the wrong choice.
"Radio" has already been a single (Unplugged), so this was not an option, but I would have loved "Somebody for Someone" or "Give me a Reason" as their next single! I also love "No more cry", but I'm not sure if they will ever release it as a single because of the very special meaning of the song.

I don't know, actually I like Irresistable very much.. I don't think it's really the wrong choice for their new single.
But I agree with Manu that "Somebody for someone" and "Give me a reason" would be a good choice. I also love "All the love in the world".
However, my favorite Corrs-Album still is their Unplugged Album.. it's just wonderful.

I love the Corrs, despite all I have heard from (ahem) their official newsletter, it is the best of their 3 albums in my humble opinion. I love Breathless and Somebody for someone. I wish Shania would do a song with them and remake a Def Leppard song or two.
She was in Country Music weekly today and she looked so divine.

Hey, I saw the video clip for that song this morning while I was getting ready for school, it's pretty cool and I LOVE that song!!!!!!
I only got listening to the Corrs earlier this year and they are great, I don't know why I haven't got into them earlier. I love their album 'In Blue'. I don't know any of their other ones.

I fell in love with In Blue within the first 5 minutes after I put it in my CD player. Their music is addictive lol. If you buy anyother Corrs album, pick up "Talk On Corners", it's awesome http://www.shania.net/shaniaforum/smile.gif

I agree, the corrs are very adictive. I can't get the cd out of my player. I must confess that is the only cd i have of them. Does anybody know if the "Corrs Live" album is good? its not the unplugged cd, it's a import from Japan that has like 8 songs on it. And, where can you but the unplugged cd, all the corrs cd's I can find is Forgiven Not Forgotten, Talk on Corners, In Blue and the Japan live thing. Id appreciate your help

The first Corrs song I ever heard was "Runaway" and I remember liking it so much. But then, I sort of forgot about them. They had such in initial impact on me.. but.. I tried listening to some of the songs on their album, "Talk On Corners" but it's sorta hard to tell what the song is like from the 30 second clips I heard on Amazon! lol!

Steph I have a suggestion that will definitely help you out. Napster is a great & free (at least for now)way to listen to entire tracks online. This is what helped me to decide to buy a copy of "Talk On Corners". Go to Napster.com and download the program (it's quick and easy).

The Corrs are very, very good!!! And Irresistible is good! The are playing it all day on the radio here in Holland, and it was in the single top 100, and it wasn't even released!!!! It's doing very well here!

Look here, I don't think that's very nice. If you think that, you should keep it to yourself. I mean I don't like alot of the singers that people like around here but I don't go saying they Suck. I think that was something that you just shouldn't of said.

I think you are very wrong when you say the Corrs suck. Sure you don't like them. But they seem to appeal to alot of people. That alone means that they don't suck.

I think the Corrs actually have a sound similar to Shania. I just started listening to them after everyone on this site started talking about them, and I really enjoy thier music.
