I'm so tired! I can't believe I'm doing all this, it's so crazy! But who cares. I have a great time and I think today is a lost day because there's no concert... Well I don't know where to start...
Last Monday was one of the best days of my life! They played in Zürich and I finally managed to get to the front. Front row to be exact. My friend Katrin and I are both huge Caroline Corr fans (as you might know *gg*) and we made some banners. I had one with "I would die for your drumsticks" and Katrin had one with "Give me a smile or a drumstick". Caro comes down to the front during two songs to sing with her sisters. We were standing right in front of her and when she was sitting there we showed her the banners. She read them. Looked at me. Smiled. She smiled at me, can you imagine? Oh my god! *lol* Andie also read them. At the end of the gig they always come to the front and wave to the audience and say goodbye. And I couldn't believe what I saw... Caro brought her drumsticks with her! When the others left, she came to the edge of the stage and pointed at me and Katrin. Then she told a security guy to give us the drumsticks. SORRY IF FOR SCREAMING, BUT I'VE GOT A DRUMSTICK FROM CAROLINE CORR, SHE GAVE IT TO ME, SHE WANTED ME TO HAVE IT, SHE'S SOOOO WONDERFUL!!! I have it here right now, it's a Vic Firth drumstick with a little Corrs-logo on it! I can't believe she played a whole concert with it...
I'm still waiting to have my picture taken with her though. But there are 4 concerts left and tomorrow we'll try to meet them at their hotel because they will make an appearance on the German "Big Brother" show. Hopefully I can meet them there. Or before one of the concerts.
Okay, now here's a little story for the Andrea fans. Andie usually doesn't wear shoes on stage, or she wears them and gets rid of them after some songs. So my friend's friend from England had a great idea. He bought a pair of slippers, they were blue and fluffy and had big blue fluffy stars on them. So in Milan, Andrea wore some boots of which she got rid after some songs. That's when Bryan threw the slippers on the stage. She didn't show any reaction and after some time someone took them away. BUT: when they came back for the encore, guess what little Andie was wearing! Bryan's slippers! It was so funny! She did two songs in them! And she said that they were her favorite color and her size! She's so sweet! http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif
Oh I love The Corrs! But don't worry, I haven't forgotten Shania, I will never forget her, she's my angel! And last week in Hamburg I spent a lot of money on Shania-stuff... *gg*
I miss you all and I'll talk to you later! Bye!!!!
Love,
Manu

Oh my god, Manu, you're soooo lucky. I like the story about Andrea, I like her. And she made just one mistake during the concert in Holland isn't it? She said a word wrong. But that's all. Very good for someone who forget whole lines of songs, and so much more.
I like to hear more when your back!

So much has happened... I don't know where to start...
It was wonderful and now it's over. That's sad. I'm sad. I got a second drumstick from Caro... and I got Keith's (the bass player, I love him, he's soooo wonderful!!!) towel. I've been to 11 concerts. I loved them all (okay, I didn't really like Milan, but that's a different story). I'm tired and sad and happy, so I'll just go to bed now.
Hehe, I'm glad to be back, missed you guys!!! http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif

Welcome back Manu!
How has everyone been?I've been fine.I haven't been posting here to offten.I've been really busy with my horse. We have to move him to a new barn b/c we had a little blowout at the barn where at now(very long story).
I had a lesson with my new trainer yesterday,I rode this 10 yr old TBOTT(Tb off the track)named Eddie. He was so clam for a TBOTT.But he raced along time ago,and hes used to having ppl riding him.I jumped him 2'0-2'3,but once I get my horse there, where gonna go back to the normal 2'6-3'0 heights! We just started jumping courses around 2'6-2'9,but sometimes I'll jump him 3ft.I am gonna show him at a small school show at my new barn in January.I'll probably do 2'3 to 2'6 courses.
Anyways,g2 jet,talk to you guys l8ter

Hey, Italian Angel:
That sounds great, except for the barn thing. My first thoroughbred was OTT, I got him when I was 9. It was so cool cause I had the tallest horse of all my friends, he was 17.1.
He never made much of a jumper though. The best jumper I had was this little Arab cross. He was only 15.1, but he was a firecracker. He could clear 6ft and make it look easy, but he always came down like a pile driver. LOL My favorite breed for jumpers though is Hanovarians. What's yours? If I get enough money for a scanner I'll post some pics of my horses. Do you have a scanner, cause I'd love to see yours.
iloveshania
Gee...I wish I had a horse! I ride once a week at a barn here in the bay area...(ca) I don't jump though...my thing is dressage. But with the horse I ride...you pretty much jump...jump or no jump. She has some mental problems...she spooks easily and bucks and bolts...I think I'm ready for the national rodeo.Lol! If I can stay on this horse, I can stay on anything!

Hey Iloveshania,
Yes,the barn thing kinda stinks. We found a barn for him though.I love jumpers, there so cool. One day I am gonna star in a Grand Prix(I hope),lol.Hanovarians are cool.I never rode them, but I am pretty sure they make great jumpers.
Right now my horse and I are doing Hunters.I would be doing jumpers, but my horse cant jump that high, maybe we could do the 3'0 jumpers,or 2'6.
I want my next horse to be a Warmblood, and a high jumper.Warmbloods make great jumpers. My friends always think I am CRAZY for wanting to jump thoses 5'0 fences, lol,I kinda am.How high have you jumped,do you show, how old are you ,and where do you live?
Yes,I do have pics of my horse, but there jumping pics.I'll send afew to you.

Lucila: LMAO! I've ridden a few like that.
Italian Angel:
I started riding when I was 4, Showing when I was six, Jumping and Hunting when I was 9. I have owned many horses over the years, mostly grade horses. I nolonger own horses unfortunately. The last one was a Welsh/Arab, which I bought my oldest daughter for her fifth birthday. We are living in the city now, and I can't afford to board a horse within reasonable travelling distance. It really makes me sad because my youngest daughter has never had a horse, and I think every kid should have a horse by the time they're 5. Unfortunately, the reality of my life does not allow for it right now. She really loves horses to, and she has a natural seat. Oh well! The great thing about life is that you never know what tomorrow will bring. http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif
