Here I go again lol. I posted this same post for Shania and I thought it would be cool for we Corr fans http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif I really feel (as I do when I listen to Shania) that I connect with so many Corrs songs. I have been going through a tough time lately and the song "Hurt Before" has really given me a lot of hope and encouragement. There are so many songs by The Corrs that I can connect with. Mostly songs written by Andrea or Caroline. Or both. The song that really touches me is "No good for me". It's hard to explain why, it's easier to understand if you read the lyrics:

I love this song so much! There are so many things and persons that are "no good for me". I know that and still I can't change what I feel. It's such a strong song!
I also love "Hurt before", Heather! Most of all the part "turning the key, unlocking the door, embracing the rollercoaster world", even if most of the time it is hard to convince yourself to do this!
And last I love the song "I never loved you anyway", just because it reminds me of someone... *lol*

You know nothing can stop me when you ask something about The Corrs, so you are to blame for this long post, Heather! *lol* (just joking of course!!!)

I think we have all had at least one relationship that wasn't good for us (oh boy, I'm getting deep lol). At first I rarely listened to "Hurt Before", but a few weeks ago, I finally listened to it all the way through. It truly mirrors what has been happening in my life and what I have been feeling lately. It also gives me a lot of strength http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif If I were ever lucky enough to meet Andrea Corr, the first thing I would tell her is "thank you" for writing something so inspiring. Hurt Before is a good one, not like im a girl, but it kinda appies to boys too. In a way, this song kind of gives me support. Another one that i think is good for the heart is Rain. I really don't know why, but i always like listening to it when im sad

my fave corrs songs are breathless coz its brilliant, runaway coz that is one of the best songs of all time and no frontiers because you get to hear caro and sharon sing and they've got beautiful voices and its an excellent song

I've got two new ones to list http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif I bought FNF last week and I was amazed that there were three songs that seemed to sum up my life right now. I just recently broke up with my boyfriend and the songs Someday, Love To Love You & Leave Me Alone reflect all my feelings and emotions so clearly it's frightening lol. I also love "The Right Time". It's just one of those songs that makes you smile. I love Sharon's fiddle arrangements. Brilliant! http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif

TOC was the second Corrs album I bought and I love it http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif I have actually come to the conclusion that anything the Corrs do musically I will love. The version I have is the U.S. special edition. It has a remix of "Dreams" and "Runaway". The "Runaway" remix doesn't really alter the mood of the song. It doesn't even really sound like a standard remix in that there are no dance beats or layered vocals. Actually, I like it just as much as the original version. There are other great songs that were on the original TOC that I downloaded off of Napster. Perhaps one day I'll buy the original version http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif

The only Corrs song I've heard is "Breathless," which I think is a GREAT song! I vaguely remember hearing another song by them from years ago, but I can't remember. It's not coming back to me.
