Well I'm back again and it's not the best feeling in the world because I already miss everything, I miss my new friends, I miss the concerts, The Corrs, I even kind of miss hotel rooms and trains... *lol* But since I also missed you guys a lot I'm glad to be back with you. For those who are not interested in The Corrs this will be very boring, don't tell me I haven't warned you! http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif Okay, here's a short review of each concert:
HAMBURG
Exciting because it was the first time I saw them since July. Was in the second row between Sharon and Andrea.
HANNOVER
Second row again, between Andrea and Sharon again. Can't remember a lot about this gig!
ROTTERDAM
We met The Corrs when they arrived at the Ahoy. Talked to Andrea, the others disappeared very quickly. The show was great, one of the best, the audience was fantastic! Agree loonecho? *lol* Was about 2nd or 3rd row, this time between Jim and Andrea, which means I had Caroline right in front of my during two songs!!!
PARIS
Between Jim and Andy again. Second row I think. Great audience, great show!
ZURICH
First row, best place in the whole venue, between Jim and Andy. The audience was great, it was the biggest so far, about 12.000 people! And Caroline gave me her drumstick... And I realized how cute Keith Duffy really is... for those who don't know, he's the Corrs' bassist.
MILAN
I can tell you one thing, Italians are crazy! *lol* Hey, just kidding, I like Italians but those at the show WERE crazy!!! In Andrea's words: "I felt like a squashed pea"!!! First I was in the second row but I ended up in the 4th or something. I was between Sharon and Andrea again. BUT: Keith walked through the audience before the show started and no one except us seemed to recognize him!
DUSSELDORF
We saw their tourbus arriving at the venue, but I only saw Jim and John (manager) in it. The others were in there as well though. The show was pretty good, first row, my fave place between Andy and Jim.
FRANKFURT
We had a huge sign for Caroline with "Caroline, thank you for the drumsticks you gave us in Zürich, we love you" or something like that, and of course she saw it and smiled and she was so sweet! Andy read it as well! And I had a sign for Keith, I won't tell you what was on it... but after that at every concert he recognized me and we always smiled at eachother... *melt* http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif
BERLIN
The only seated concert. I was kind of first row, but on the side in an orchestra seat. I don't like seated concerts unless everyone gets up and dances. The show was good though! Keith was good... *lol* And I really liked Berlin!!!
VIENNA
Wow, Vienna is such a wonderful city!!! I love it and I want to go back! I met Jasmin there, she went to the show with me and I'm proud to say that she's a Shania-Corrs-fan now as well! *lol* I bought a green frog for Keith and threw it on the stage, he couldn't reach it because of his bass so he told Jim to give it to him and Jim and Keith played with the frog! I also had a "Caroline, drumsticks again?" sign and since Caro is such a sweet person... *lol* No, seriously, she gave me a second drumstick, Jasmin got the other one. So there are two proud Caro-drumstick-owners on these boards! http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif Also got some smiles from her... and of corrs from Keith!
MUNICH
It was the last concert for me. I was very sad and knew I had to do something... I decided that I wanted Keith's towel, so I made a sign for him. Hehe. He read it and smiled and nodded his head, and after the first encore he came - heartattack! - to the edge of the stage and threw the towel to me. I was sooo happy!!! I also threw a little cute cow for Caro. Andy picked it up and when she read that it was for Caro she went to the drumkit, showed it to Caro and put it in front of her. Whoooaaaaa!!! http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif
In general: Sharon wore the same clothes everytime, even when they appeared on Big Brother Germany! Caro is the prettiest! http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif InBlue sounds soooo much better live! Shaz played the guitar in "Somebody for Someone"! Andy forgot her lyrics about twice... *lol* Jim is C.O.O.L!!! I really really like him!!! For the first three and the last three concerts the support band was Picturehouse, they are from Dublin and they are wonderful!!! I like them a lot! For the rest of the concerts it was David Gray and even though I didn't like him at the beginning his music has grown on me and I even bought his album. He's kind of ... good!!! *gg*
I really had a great time! I met some wonderful people, my new friends Emma and Julia and some cool people from all over Europe (UK, Finland, Holland, Germany, France, Italy...). I will meet some of them on New Year's Eve in... guess where!!! *lol* Yeah, Dublin! I'll try to find Keith there and ask him to marry me... *lol* Then there will be two more concerts for me in Birmingham and Manchester in January. That will be great!!! And there are rumours they will be back in Germany (and hopefully Switzerland!) in May... I can't wait! I know I'm crazy, but I'm hopelessly addicted!!! *lol*
Right now I feel crappy... I want to turn back time. I want those smiles from Caro, those looks from Andy, those grins from Jim, everything from Keith... I want to see my friends. I want to have fun.
Oh and BTW, of corrs I still love Shania!!! *lol*
Love,
Manu
