Corrs Karoke:)

I tried this question out on the Jim Corr board at corrsonline, so why not here http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif If the Corrs were to set up a sort of Karoke, meet n' greet thing with a few lucky fans (that would be all of us of course http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif), and you were able to sing any Corrs song which would it be and why. Also (a bonus question http://www.shaniaforums.com/wink.gif), if you could sing a duet with any member of the band, who would it be?


The two songs that I sing reasonably well are "Only When I Sleep", "Intimacy" or "Love In The MilkyWay". I would say "Breathless" but, I have a very difficult time doing that Irish yodle thing for the "Goooo oon" parts of the song lol. I also have to say that if I could perform with any Corr, it would be Jim. He's got a great voice and I think that he should do a cover version of something like the Police's "Every Breath You Take". I figure that since Andrea & the girls have sang and performed covers that Jim should step up to the mic http://www.shaniaforums.com/wink.gif As a duet, I would probably insist (the good ole woman's perrogative) on choosing "With Or Without You" http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif

I can't even speak when I meet The Corrs, how could I sing? *lol* But if I had to choose one song to sing to them, it would be "So Young", "Runaway" or "No more cry".

I also think Jim has a great voice! I love his background vocals in "No good for me"! I would love to sing with him, the song would be either "Whenever you call me friend" by Stevie Nicks and Kevin Loggins or "Leather and Lace" by Stevie and Don Henley.

But...

This sounds a bit cheap but I'd love to take Sharon's part in "No frontiers" and sing it with Caro!!! I think I could do better than ShaSha... *lol* Hey, just kidding!!! http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif

I think "Runaway" would be my choice. I think "Breathless" is great to, but I couldn't do that yodle thing either. I'd love to sing with Andie, but like Manu I'd probably be speachless.
