How about this for a twist: we all have our favorite Corrs tunes, but how about those that we skip over or admittedly dislike? This is a tough question for me to answer, believe me http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif I have to admit that I am not that crazy about "At Your Side" and that "So Young" and "Erin Shore" are tracks that I often skip over. It's not that I think they stink, I just find myself skipping over them in favor of other tracks. So which Corrs songs (if any lol) do you dislike & why http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif

Oh and I have to add one more to my list of least favored Corrs tunes. I just downloaded "Looking Through The Eyes Of Love" off of Napster and I honestly don't really care for it.

*dodging cyber slaps from my fellow Corrs fans*

Sorry lol! I know that loads of other people love it. I think it's because it reminds me of something that old 70's band The Carpenters would have recorded. My mother is a Carpenters fan, perhaps thats why I am not too fond of it. Darn, I knew that my parents had damaged me psychologically in some way lol http://www.shaniaforums.com/wink.gif

Yes, there are actually some songs that I don't listen to, or rarely.

* Intimacy
* Leave me alone
* Love gives, love takes
* Rain
* Radio and AYS IB versions (but I love the UnP-versions!!!)

Yeah, that's it. I also sometimes skip "only when I sleep", not because I don't like it but because it's probably the song I've heard most from all the songs ever written on this planet... *lol*

Manu, actually rain is my favourite song from the corrs! But oh well, i think my least favourite is No More Cry, and At Your Side. Also, i have a confession to make about me and the corrs, i'll post a new topic on it later.

Darren:
I don't know why, but I just don't get into "Rain"! Maybe it's too difficult for me! http://www.shaniaforums.com/wink.gif But I LOVE "No more cry", it's one of my favorite songs off "In Blue".

Hey, what about your confession? I'm really curious now!!! http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif

Yeah, I have the same thing with rain. And I dont know why either. Manu, on another topic you said you especially like the songs written by Andrea and Caroline (thats very understandable lol). But how do you know the songs are written by them? I always see things like written by the Corrs. Yeah, I know that, but by which Corr?

Songs I always skip. Well, I have a routine. I always play the songs I can play on my guitar. Which are So young, at your side, radio, only when I sleep,ehh, and a few songs from which I certainly dont remember the names! Well, ok, eh, the songs I dont play often. I dont know, I just play what I like at that moment, and that can change ya know!

lol I think I'll join Darren in the "I Love Rain" section http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif It's not the best song on the album, but I love the fact that Sharon penned the song with New Orleans in mind. She said that she wrote it to reflect the mood of a rainy night in New Orleans http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif The last time I was there, I had IB in my CD player as I drove into the city & "Rain" began to play. It truly does capture the mood of the city http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif

I also am curious as to why people don't seem to like "Paddy McCarthy". I love it! The way thei intergrated Sharon's violin and the synth is great and very innovative.It makes me want to get up and boogie lol http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif

On the tour they did "Paddy" and it was soooo great! Keith's bass and Sharon's violin, it was just perfect! I never cared for it much before, but now I love it! I just think the beginning of the "TOC" version is not that good, but the rest is fantastic! I love their instrumentals!!!
