I guess this will be LeeAnn's crossover album. Her tracks on the Cyote Ugly Soundtrack are worlds away from "Blue" or anything else she has done before. I am also willing to bet that there will be the predicitible backlash from the old gaurd in Nashville. Hopefully she won't let them intimidate her!

Curb Records (her recording company) put this album together without her knowing it. She didn't know about it until like a month or 2 ago. That's why there is only 6 new songs on it. LeAnn is in the process of her "pop" "mixed" album with Brian McKnight and writing some on the album and producing it, and it should be released in the spring or summer and I've also heard the fall. This album kinda pushed it back. Curb is turning into a bad label. They did this same thing to Tim McGraw with his Greatest Hits album.

But, LeAnn has been a little pop since How Do I Live in 1997, so this really isn't a jump into the pop world, but you have to admit she does have the talent to do pop/ country and anything she wants to do. Except Rap, I think that's a no-no. lol
