Shania Twain brings her lively show to the Omaha Arena at 7 p.m. Tuesday

Gear "Up!" for the biggest country music show yet at Omaha's new arena.

Well, sort of.

Superstar Shania Twain, who will bring her tour promoting her most recent album, "Up!," to the arena Tuesday night, may be country at heart, but she looks and sounds rock 'n' roll.

Twain delivers even her most twangy songs with a hefty dose of pop. Her sexy videos and toned, bare midriff look more at home on MTV than CMT.

Her music style may be disputed, but her ability to sell albums is not. A Canada native, Twain first broke onto the scene in 1993 with her self-titled debut album. She hit full stride with 1995's "The Woman in Me." The Grammy Award-winning album produced her first No. 1 song, "Any Man of Mine," and went on to sell 9 million records in the United States alone.

Then "Come On Over" arrived in 1997, proving Twain's tremendous crossover potential. Her songs littered most every Billboard chart, including the Billboard Hot 100, Adult Contemporary, Hot Latin Tracks, Rhythmic Top 40 and, of course, Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. It eventually sold 34 million copies, thanks to the rhythmic hooks of songs like "From This Moment On," "That Don't Impress Me Much" and "Man! I Feel Like a Woman."

"Up," which arrived in 2002, has helped uphold her status as one of music's hottest artists. The album hit No. 1 on no less than four different charts and produced several hits, including "Forever and for Always."

According to All Music Guide: "When it comes to shiny, multipurpose pop, nobody does it better than Shania Twain."
