In another thread we started on Landrovers vs Jeeps.
I had to get this off my chest. Landrovers are fine vehicles. But for the money you spend you can usually buy 2 or more Jeeps depending on the models and years you compare.
I have: 88 Cherokee 250,000+ miles
91 wrangler 260,000+ miles
72 CJ5 with God only knows miles on it.
All have seen time in the mountains and mud.
serious trails rated 9+ and light ones.
I'm sure the landrover fans will respond but they have no leg to stand on when it comes to price.
Winemaker as far as ride goes check out a new TJ or Grand Cherokee these vehicles are much more road oriented than the old CJS or older Cherokee wagons which were mostly trail oriented. http://www.shania.net/shaniaforum/smile.gif
