For all the many new folk who have now registered to visit Shania's home town for Fan Con 2004 and those who are still thinking about it, here is a typical image for you to enjoy:

In Scotland we have more sense than to re-name a beef sausage a 'Weenie' and NUKE it in an open fire.... Yikes, it has exploded!

Day 1 fan con 2003 for the full story and ALL the pictures goto

http://www.shaniatwaincentre.com/oldsite/fan-convention1.htm for loads of fun and pictures to prove it. THIS YEAR IS GOING TO BE EVEN BETTER!!!!!

Well not a lot I can do about that, but that is why the Fan Convention is now an annual event. Many Fans have followed Shania around the World during the UP! Tour and are a bit pushed finance wise to attend this year as well. So this year will be the best ever until 2005 which of course will be even better :D

heh, I see that the Scots need some consulting on how to spear a sausage to be cooked on an open fire..!

Ah well we have more sense in Scotland than to take a chunk of prime Aberdeen Angus Beer and NUKE it over an open log fire! I speared it just fine, but the darned thing just, sort of 'exploded'.

Oh well no doubt we will do it again this year, and maybe, just maybe I will get it right this time around. House was sold at 11am today, New owner wants to move in end of the Month, so I could well be in Timmins for July as if no seagoing job turns up by then, it will be cheaper for me to live in Timmins than stay in rented accomodation near Aberdeen.
