A lot of my songs are very close close to my heart. I have difficulty sharing them as I would be open to ridicule should I show my inner self. I can't write a song without feeling something in my heart. In this case I did, but for a friend.
I can share this song as it's not for me. My best friend asked me to write a poem for him, should he ever encounter this girl again. He knows she knew him by what she said. But he never figured out who she was.

Now I've missed the boat, and I'm going insane

She must have been nervous, she spoke so fast

But I turned off, on the wrong path
