My First Avatar

Still have no idea what an avatar is...but I made my first in Jasc Animation....the quality is low but it looks alright, I think!

The less frames you run, the higher quality image you can use ...but will affect smoothness of the motion. Great job at your first effort. Hope you keep playing with Jasc animation shop...is a nice program (Y)

Those all look awesome! Keep it UP! Although as someone already suggested, and I highly suggest, is reduce the number of frames in the animation because the animation will be a lot more clear.

Just change the date on your computer back by a couple weeks. Be sure to change it back once you are done, but from now on every time you wanna use the program just change the date on your computer :)

dont know why it doesnt work...works for everyone else including me. Did you set the date on your computer too far back, like way before you dwnloaded the program? I did that the first time, I downloaded it like say like in December, but set the date back to like November.

It came with my laptop...It gave me 30 days or somethin after I first used the program. Maybe I'm not changin the date right. :huh: Where should I go to change the date?

Hmm if it came with your laptop than that might be why it doesnt work if you change the date on your computer. You know where it says the time on your laptop? (most likely in the bottom right hand corner) Double click on there and a square box with a calendar and a clock should show up, and just change the date from there if that's not what you already tried. If that is what you have been doing to change the date, then try uh, downloading another trial version off KaZaA or some other program, or ask around and see if any of your friends has the software. :)

That's what I did...I went to the Jasc Software website where I can download a free trial. I have to delete my original version but I'm not sure if the downloadable one is any good. I guess there's nothin else I cand do with the one I got though. :huh:

Suggestion: Well actually you could delete the one you currently have, and download it again from the website, and if the one from the site is no good then just retrieve the one you deleted from the recycling bin on the computer and delete the one you downloaded :uhh:

Well my original one that expired isn't useful since it expired...I can't use it at all. I downloaded the one from the site and it has no animation options whatsoever. It stinks. P U. Bad. Nastily stinks. :scowl:

Hmm...well just ask around and see if anybody has the software or download it off KaZaA or whatever. Dixie, your avatars are of a high level. They are awesome. :up: :) I have to say that Dixie is now the best avatar creator, but Jenn is a very very good second. :) You are also great.
