I was wondering if there were many Corrs' fans here.
I personally love the Corrs and Shania Twain, they are my favourites. I think they have a few things in common in their music and the members of the Corrs are just as good looking as Shania. So I was wondering if the Corrs' music appealed to other Shania fans or if it's just me.

Well, I adore the Corrs! Maybe there is something in both Shania's and The Corrs' music that attracts fans of one to the other. I don't know, but I love them!!!!! My fave is Sharon (see my username on www.corrsonline.com : mnemSharon. Yes, that's me, not a twin!), but I love them all! And thank you for your welcome CaptainCorr, I am happy to see someone I know here. I just decided it was time I found a Shania forum too. And isn't it funny that Shania and Sharon are such similar names? I would call it destiny! LOL!

I really think that without the Corrs and Shania I might be a bit lost and not listen to a lot of music. I like music to make me feel something, to have a message of some sort (even if it's hidden). That's why I'm not turned on by rap cos I don't like the sound of it and it often has no meaning. Sometimes it's just fifteen thousand swear words one after the other!!!!!

Now they have cancelled that concert and it is too late to get good seats at other concerts. I am not happy but at this point don't know who is to blame for this.

Except for reasons of illness, I think that if a performer has sold tickets for a show he should honour it. I have been trying to find out if the Corrs have moved to a larger venue in Ottawa. I have been phoning all kinds of places. This is not cheap as I am nowhere near Ottawa this week. It doesn't help that the NAC uses Ticketmaster and the Corel Centre dropped TM and use their own ticketing agency.

According to a representative of the Centennial Hall venue (London), all Canadian dates, with the exception of Vancouver (Aug 5th) and Toronto (Aug 30th), are cancelled..... :(

But there's no official news whatsoever and it's possible something might happen with the US dates too.... :rolleyes:

Okay, so you got Borrowed Heaven & Talk on Corners....
I suggest getting In Blue next, then Forgiven Not Forgotten and after that, Unplugged! :D (and notice how different IB & FNF sound! ;))

Or wait, instead of getting an album, why not get a DVD?
They are absolutely fantastic live, so you definately should get one! :D
The problem is....which one to get first.... :uhh: lol!
I think you first should go for Live @ Lansdowne Road, then Live in London, then Live @ the Royal Albert Hall and then Unplugged....:) (you can get the Best of- DVD as the last one if you want :))

I'd also recommend the Unplugged cd and dvd and for your first concert dvd Lansdowne Road, it's absolutely the best one!

They are awesome live :up:

Btw: the same thing happened to me when I got Talk On Corners, I noticed I knew so many songs from there... they had been played on the radio so much :p

Before my registration to this forum I wasn't crazy about the Corrs, but now, especially thanks to Ariadne(Tupi), I'm a big fan! I'll see them the 11th october in Paris, and even in Amneville the 14th! :D

Actually, Royal Albert Hall is the least best in my list, it does have some good points too, but to get the drive and energy of a concert, get Lansdowne Road! It's outdoors and people standing, while in Royal Albert Hall people are sitting and it's indoors and the oomph isn't there :p
