Here is a copy of the toast which I read at the Evening dinner at the MacIntyre arena. This is the last edit version of the poem. Only one person has the original copy with the original wording which was changed at the last minute. ;)
The weather did cooperate
We sang, we laughed, we danced and even ate.
We partied till the sun came up
Slept at the center, we didn`t let up.
To all the people who welcomed you here.
They are to us and you, our friends so dear.
They left their families to be with you.
They owe their spouses a holiday or two.
I`m almost done my little rhyme
Cause Tracy told me I’d be out of time.
I have to run and have some fun
Before she shoots me with her gun.
To all the friends that we here met
Y’all who we’ll not soon forget.
I hope you did enjoy your stay
And had some fun on every day.
We all came here for our love of Shania
She’s really good, way better than Mariah
We’ll have good memories for years to come
We had a blast, and tons of fun.
So cheers to you and cheers to me
Raise your glasses, very high to see
You’re surely tired of listening to me.
My toast is done, that’s it for me.
