Road routes from the US Great Lakes states basically include A) Toronto, Huntsville, Matheson and Timmins; or B) Sault Ste Marie, Thessalon, Chapleau and Timmins.

Travelors from Buffalo, NY usually go via Toronto. Detroit and Toledo have the option of the Toronto or Sault Ste Marie route. Chicago has the option of Detroit to Toronto, or Sault Ste Marie via the west coast of Wisconsin, or Sault Ste Marie via central Michigan.

For anyone driving up to Timmins past Huntsville (where Shania developed her stage presence to the next level years ago, after Timmins), here's a detailed review of Deerhurst Resort show for 2004. Begins with 8th post on this page, and follows with photos and more comments on following pages.

Thank Bob!

Do you remember how many times you've visited Timmins?

Yes I do. But I'm not sure that would give clear perspective. The length and depth of my stays since 1978/9 vary, and I think only my visit for the Centre Opening in 2001 was as short and consumer oriented as what most fans experienced. Reminds me, I haven't finished the 2nd half of my detailed report on one of those fan events yet.

I think writers are always behind the productive schedule they'd aimed for, and also always know they could've done better work with more time.
