First of all, I totally agree. The name’s football, not soccer. Period.

Now for the game, I actually haven’t seen the game, but I choked when I saw the result tonight. What happened to Spain? I have to see it tomorrow, if they bother to replay it, or at least some parts of it. Was it luck or was it Ericsson’s hand starting to work? The Spanish were not very impressive in the last few years with the national team, despite the tremendous success they had at club level. But that applies to England too. I guess the excessive number of foreigners is taking its toll on the performances.
