1st (English) review from Sara! :D

That’s my review of Geneva, hope you’ll like it !!

I was so excited to go to Geneva, I arrived just before 1 pm, it was very quiet, we were about 20 waiting for the band and waiting for being front row !
I met two guys and a girl, we spent our time together chatting about the band, the concert, usual stuff !! At a quarter to four, the security guards were in front of the gate of the entrance and I thought " “um something’s gonna happen !” And……..The Corrs arrived in a grey car, we couldn’t see the girls as the windows were tinted, but we saw Jim (coz he was sitting on the front) and he waved at us !!! Everybody started running after the car but the security guards prevented us from going too far (bad men !!)
At that point of the afternoon everybody was excited and happy, I was even singing with some people, you know saying “Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah !!!!!”
One hour later, we could hear the music inside, we started yelling and singing, and when they started lighting the stage, we could see the band performing inside because there were some little windows on the main doors.I couldn’t wait anymore, you know seeing them !!!!!!!!! But again, the security (after twenty minutes) seeing us looking through the windows to see the band, closed the curtains behind the doors ! Then the eternal waiting time started. It was an absolute nightmare, but finally at a quarter to seven, people started singing and smiling again as the doors were about to open. After the security check, I run so fast, I even lost a pen, to be front row. Fortunately I was in front of Andrea ‘s microphone (front row of course) !!! I was so pleased so did my friends. Before the concert, we started singing “Yeah, yeah, yeah”, screaming Sharon, Caro, Jim and Andrea’s name but the audience wasn’t really good ( not the front and second row but the rest !) I was really disappointed I wanted to make everybody sing and dance.
At 8:40, we couldn’t wait anymore, cameras were ready and the show started. As usual the intro was fantastic (longer). Andrea started with “ Bonsoir Geneve !!!!!!!” During the first songs the audience was really quiet (except front and second row and a group of hardcore fans in front of Sharon) Jim actually recognized me the first minute, he was on stage, he smiled at me so did Keith ( during the all concert !!!!!), and after Dreams, I screamed “Jim !!!” He turned back (coz he was looking at Jason or Keith) I sent him a big kiss and he sent it back to me, girls were screaming ! After that, Andrea did her speech telling us that Caro wasn’t on the drums because of her pregnancy but that she was finally here tonight !!!! Big screams on the audience, I had my sign saying “Caro Welcome Back”. Caro said a few words, she said she missed touring and that she was very happy to be in Geneva for this show” and then she went back to “her job” as she said !!
Angel was a very emotional moment for the band and we were all touched by Andrea as she was almost crying. After Forgiven Not Forgotten, the audience started to be more enthusiastic. We had our lighter for Runaway as Andrea said “ Just singing with us !”, that was cool. For Lunasa, we made some Bubbles and the three girls were on stage playing together, that was a great moment. Borrowed Heaven was good, we gave to the band some confetti, Jim put some on the big drums when Caro was playing. No Frontiers was absolutely brilliant at the very beginning, Sharon forgot to say the title of the song so Jim told her to say it,she started laughing and she couldn’t really say it as she didn’t remember and finally said “It’s called No Frontiers”.
Old town was good fun, Andrea was dancing and jumping all over the place, saying “ola !”, “ola!” !! For Long Night we had some lights like birthday lights, it didn’t really last but it was nice. Then we did Summer Sunshine with loads and loads of confetti throwing away at each chorus, that was beautiful. Of course for So Young we didn’t have any confetti left, but we used loads of balloons and again I’m sure it’s gonna make a good visual effect on the DVD. Goodbye was so sad, Andrea was almost crying, I was crying, we knew it was almost the end of the show. But when the band came back on stage, Jim told us that they had a technical problem ( Andrea confirmed that they were making the DVD) and that we had to do Summer Sunshine again. So we took back all the confetti on the floor to do the song again. But after the first chorus, they stopped again the music, and Andrea said “ I’m really sorry but we have to do it again”. So we did it again finally it was good. And after Summer Sunshine, Andrea made a joke “Now the next song, it’s called Summer Sunshine !!!!” Finally the band left us Breathless during Breathless and Toss The Feathers was absolutely giant !!!!! They said us goodbye and they left…..I hope not for a very long time.

Bonus features:

Sharon was wearing a black long dress with a belt, she was very sophisticated !
Andrea had a black mini-skirt (not the leather one) with her black boots, her top (the one she had in Sevilla, I think) and a brown belt.
Caro was wearing a pair of Jeans with a green top she was gorgeous !!!
Jim was like usual, you know !

I had a very good moment, and I want to get this DVD even if I’m a bit afraid at the idea of seeing me on it (I was too excited !!!! My God !) and I wished some real fans of The Corrs were with us to show to the badn how much we love them.

See ya

Sara
