View Full Version : I just bought the Live In London DVD and..
I just bought the Corrs DVD The Corrs - Live in London (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00007L4IL/qid=1102766865/sr=8-3/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i3_xgl74/102-5421141-6139357?v=glance&s=dvd&n=507846) and I'm really sursrised how much I like it (after hearing it about 6 times one after the other).
How about the other DVDs by The Corrs (e.g. Live at Lansdowne Road, Unplugged or Live at the Royal Albert Hall)?
I'm specially interested in the Live ar Lansdowne Road DVD but I've heard the playlist is quite similar to Live In London, is that true and if yes is it worth buying Lansdowne anyway?
And what about the technical point of the others, Live in London is with its DTS 5.0 sound a pleasure.
Any recommendations :)?
I would recommend Live at Lansdowne Road and Unplugged
Lansdowne has an awesome atmosphere

:funny: Thát's the spirit! :p
(Hint: it's almost X-mas....:supwink: )

Well actually, RAH & LR are more similar than LR & LIL....;)
Anyway.... Live in London has a great setlist & Lansdowne Road is just the best.... As a matter of fact I've begun watching LR again since yesterday and it's really great! Royal Albert Hall is also magical....highlights are Sharon's Solo/Haste To The Wedding Part I, Haste To The Wedding Part II (Caroline & Mick Fleetwood's 'drum duet'), and some other stuff....
Unplugged is also very  :p. Different than the others, more intimate and of corrs....acoustic! :D:up:
I think LR is a must-get.... it's amazing what a crowd of 42000 can do! :supwink: + it has some nice extra's....:)
Little notice: a new DVD ('Live in Geneva') will be out sometime next year....
with songs from their latest album, Borrowed Heaven. :D
(another must-get! lol)
LR & Unplugged are in 16:9.
LR has got DD 5.1 & Unplugged DD 5.0.
Both DVD's got subtitles.
If you need more info, just ask! ;)
 Thanks a lot
Actually... only yesterday I have bought Live At Landsdowne Road.
After watching Lansdowne Road two times and London again I was able to compare it directly.
On the technical side London has DTS 5.0 (and gimmicks like multi angle) and Lansdowne has "only" DD 5.1 (and btw. it has displeasing loud sound from the audience on the rear speakers).
The most thing I like on London is the brilliant stage direction. The split-screen and the black and white slow-motion parts are fantastic.
Besides London is with 105 mins. longer than Lansdowne (87 mins.) and so it has more songs. On the other hand Lansdowne has an adorable 'No Frontiers'.
Yet I haven't had time to look for the bonuses on both discs (except for the good subtitle Universal/Mercury Records could take a leaf out of these for the next Shania DVD  ).
Although Lansdowne has this cool atmosphere I like Live in London a bit better.
If you need more info, just ask! ;)
Indeed there is another question :D
Are there any information about an SACD or DVD-Audio of Borrowed Heaven?

Yeah....Warner is the best with DVD extra's....:D:up:
Those subtitles really come in handy! :D

Nope.... not yet....:(
If you didn't know, there is a DVD-Audio of In Blue....:)
Last week I was really into Lansdowne Road and at the moment I'm really into Royal Albert Hall....:) I really love Intimacy & HTTW part I....

Thanks.
I knew that there is a DVD-Audio of 'In Blue' but with the two live concerts I think I have all the songs from this album (unless you say that the DVD is that good that its absolutely necessary for a new Corrs Fan to have; then I would think of it... ), so I was looking for the new one. Too bad that there is no information about a DVD-Audio. I think I will wait just some months and if there is no news on this I'll go and buy the Borrowed Heaven-CD.
And Thanks again for the information.
