But I have no idea where it is from, looks like some red carpet from an awards show, but which one? Would be great if you could help me, thanx in advance!

Beautiful... but not the same dress as on the pic I posted above. Also look at Shania's hair, it's different. So it's not ACM 96. ACM 95 then? Or something else?

no this isnt from the N/H premiere coz she was wearing a black skirt, black top with a high neck and her hair was up like in the miflaw video, this pic is an early pic of shania.

...which doesn't necessarily mean anything yet - if I can't make out Tracy's commentary about the dresses in the echoing McIntyre...

Sorry, haven't come across other pics from that award show... - I'd bet that they even showed it on TV here in Finland back then... :sad: ...unfortunately, one had not yet been introduced to the hold of Shania by then... ;)

Yes, that dress was at the STC FanCon2 fashion show in Timmins last August... and it was definitely the show-stopper: a huge gasp from the crowd and monsterous applauds...

I'll post a few stills from the video, just that you will see... and though the young lady presenting the dress was pretty...

...it's not the dress that makes a lady - it's the lady who makes the dress..! ;)

Always thought that was the TNN Music City Awards 1996. Because of all those country artist. You don't normally see them at the World Music Awards.
And somebody said that too me. But I can't remember who that was.

But that one with Celine I know for sure that is the World Music Awards. Because in every book I have from Shania, when I see one of those pictures it says "World Music Awards". It stands also at the bottom of that pic. So I don't know anymore. :dunno:

I guess the pix Anne-Marie posted are from rehearsals the day before... and the others are from the actual show. I have that performance on DVD somewhere and she also wins an award there...
